O the blessedness of that one, || Who has not walked in the counsel of the wicked, || And has not stood in the way of sinners, || And has not sat in the seat of scorners; But his delight [is] in the Law of YHWH, || And in His law he meditates by day and by night:
the scroll of this Law does not depart out of your mouth, and you have meditated in it by day and by night, so that you observe to do according to all that is written in it, for then you cause your way to prosper, and then you act wisely.
[MEM] O how I have loved Your law! It [is] my meditation all the day. Your command makes me wiser than my enemies, || For it [is] before me for all time. I have acted wisely above all my teachers. For Your testimonies [are] my meditation. Above elderly—I understand more, || For I have kept Your precepts.
I meditate on Your precepts, || And I attentively behold Your paths. I delight myself in Your statutes, || I do not forget Your word.
And I delight myself in Your commands, || That I have loved, And I lift up my hands to Your commands, || That I have loved, || And I meditate on Your statutes!
I have gone forward in the dawn, and I cry, || I have hoped for Your word. My eyes have gone before the watches, || To meditate on Your saying.
Frutos da meditação
A meditação produz entendimento, alegria e adoração. Quem medita na Palavra encontra direção, paz e renovação espiritual.
Let the sayings of my mouth, || And the meditation of my heart, || Be for a pleasing thing before You, || O YHWH, my rock, and my redeemer!
My mouth speaks wise things, || And the meditations of my heart [are] things of understanding.
I mention the doings of YAH, || For I remember Your wonders of old, And I have meditated on all Your working, || And I talk concerning Your doings.
I have remembered days of old, || I have meditated on all Your acts, || I muse on the work of Your hand.
We have thought, O God, of Your kindness, || In the midst of Your temple,
I sing to YHWH during my life, || I sing praise to my God while I exist. My meditation on Him is sweet, || I rejoice in YHWH.
