Medo da morte
O medo da morte é universal, mas Cristo o venceu. A Bíblia ensina que para quem crê, a morte perdeu o aguilhão — não é mais motivo de terror, mas porta para a eternidade com Deus.
Cristo venceu a morte
Jesus assumiu carne e sangue para, pela morte, destruir o que tinha o poder da morte e libertar os que viviam em escravidão pelo medo dela.
So whenever this corruptible puts on incorruption and this mortal puts on immortality, then this written word will happen: "Death has been swallowed down into victory."
"Where, O Death, is your sting?
Where, O Hades, is your victory?"
The stinger of death is sin, and the adjunct of sin is the law.
Now thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!
A promessa da vida eterna
Quem ouve a Palavra e crê já passou da morte para a vida. O amor perfeito lança fora o medo, até o medo da morte.
"Most assuredly I say to you that the one listening to my word and believing on Him who sent me has eternal life; he will not go into judging but has moved out of the death into the Life.
Jesus said to her: "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes into me, though he may die, will live;
Most assuredly I say to you, if anyone should keep my word he will never ever see death." my word"—again the emphasis is on commitment and obedience.
Because God loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes into Him should not be wasted, but should have eternal life.
Não temas
Jesus disse: não temais os que matam o corpo. No vale da sombra da morte, o Senhor está conosco como pastor e protetor.
And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear the One who is able to destroy both soul and body in Hell.
