Medo da morte

Por Bíblia Online

O medo da morte é universal, mas Cristo o venceu. A Bíblia ensina que para quem crê, a morte perdeu o aguilhão — não é mais motivo de terror, mas porta para a eternidade com Deus.

Cristo venceu a morte

Jesus assumiu carne e sangue para, pela morte, destruir o que tinha o poder da morte e libertar os que viviam em escravidão pelo medo dela.

Because the children share flesh and blood in common, he shared in this in the same way so that through death he could destroy the one that had the power of deaththe deviland free everyone who through fear of death were enslaved all their lives.

When this perishable body has been clothed with a body that never perishes, and this mortal life has been clothed with immortality, then the Scripture will come true that says, "Death has been totally conquered and destroyed. Deathwhere’s your victory? Deathwhere’s your sting?" The sting that causes death is sin; and the power of sin is the law; but praise God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Through baptism we were buried with him in death so that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father we too can live a new life. If we’ve become one with him in dying like he did, then we’ll be raised like him too.

A promessa da vida eterna

Quem ouve a Palavra e crê já passou da morte para a vida. O amor perfeito lança fora o medo, até o medo da morte.

I tell you the truth: those who follow what I say and trust the one who sent me have eternal life. They won’t be condemned, but have gone from death to life.

Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. Those who trust in me will live, even though they die.

I tell you the truth, anyone who follows my teaching will never die."

For God loved the world, and this is how: he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who trusts in him shouldn’t die, but have eternal life.

Where there is love there can be no fear. God loves us completely, and this love drives all our fears away. If we do fear, it’s because we fear being punished, and this shows that we have not been fully remade by the completeness of God’s love.

Não temas

Jesus disse: não temais os que matam o corpo. No vale da sombra da morte, o Senhor está conosco como pastor e protetor.

Don’t be afraid of those who can kill you physically, but can’t kill you spiritually. Instead, be afraid of the one who can destroy you physically and spiritually in Gehenna.

Even when I walk through the valley dark as death, I’m not afraid of any evil, because you are right there with me; your rod and your staff protect me.

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will never happen again. There will be no mourning or crying or pain ever again for the former world no longer exists."

Don’t be afraid about what you are going to suffer. Yes, the devil will throw some of you into prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Just remain faithful, even if it means death, and I will give you the crown of life!

Those who follow what’s right rest in peace; they find rest as they lie down in death.

For "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Just as Scripture says, "For your sake we’re in danger of being killed all the time. We’re treated like sheep to be slaughtered." Noin all that happens to us we’re more than conquerors through him who loved us. I’m absolutely convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor devils, neither the present nor the future, nor powers, neither height nor depth, in fact nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
