And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.(Matthew 22:37)
Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are upon the earth.(Colossians 3:2)
Look therefore carefully how ye walk, not as unwise, but as wise; redeeming the time, because the days are evil.(Ephesians 5:15,16)
For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but so to think as to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to each man a measure of faith.(Romans 12:3)
Happy is the man that findeth wisdom,
And the man that getteth understanding.(Proverbs 3:13)
He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul:
He that keepeth understanding shall find good.(Proverbs 19:8)
Iron sharpeneth iron;
So a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.(Proverbs 27:17)
A fool despiseth his father’s correction;
But he that regardeth reproof getteth prudence.(Proverbs 15:5)
Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise;
When he shutteth his lips, he is esteemed as prudent.(Proverbs 17:28)
A prudent man seeth the evil, and hideth himself;
But the simple pass on, and suffer for it.(Proverbs 27:12)
Every one therefore that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them, shall be likened unto a wise man, who built his house upon the rock:(Matthew 7:24)
Who is wise and understanding among you? let him show by his good life his works in meekness of wisdom.(James 3:13)
For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.(1 Corinthians 2:2)
For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse:(Romans 1:20)
For in much wisdom is much grief; and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.(Ecclesiastes 1:18)
