27 "Look, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh; is anything* too difficult for me?"

21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and Yahweh moved the sea* with a strong east wind all night, and he made the sea become dry ground, and the waters were divided. 22 And the Israelites* entered the middle of the sea on the dry land. The waters were a wall for them on their right and on their left.

11 I will remember the deeds of Yah.*

Surely I will remember your wonders* from long ago.

12 I will also muse on all your work,

and meditate on your deeds.

14 You are the God who works wonders;*

you have made known your might among the peoples.

20 And he said to them, "Because of your little faith. For truly I say to you, if you have faith like a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you."*

21 And Jesus answered and* said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will do not only what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea," it will happen!

23 But Jesus said to him, "If you are able! All things are possible for the one who believes!"

27 Jesus looked at them and* said, "With human beings it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God."

27 But he said, "What is impossible with men is possible with God."

58 And he did not perform many miracles in that place because of their unbelief.

22 "Israelite men, listen to these words! Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with deeds of power and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst, just as you yourselves know—

31 And when* they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak* the word* of God with boldness.

Would-be Exorcists

11 And God was performing extraordinary* miracles by the hands of Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs or work aprons that had touched his skin* were carried away to those who were sick, and their* diseases left them and the evil spirits came out of them.*

12 Indeed, the signs of an apostle have been done among you with all patient endurance, both signs and wonders and deeds of power.

28 and whom God has appointed in the church: first, apostles, second, prophets, third, teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helps, administrations, kinds of tongues.

8 For to one is given a word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another a word of knowledge by the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another* gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10 to another* miraculous powers*, to another* prophecy, to another* distinguishing of spirits, to another kinds of tongues, to another* interpretation of tongues.

39 But Jesus said, "Do not prevent him, because there is no one who does a miracle in my name and will be able soon afterward to speak evil of me. 40 For whoever is not against us is for us.

15 And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins he will be forgiven*. 16 Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much.

17 Elijah was a human being* with the same nature as us, and he prayed fervently* for it not to rain, and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the earth produced its fruit.

16 And taking the five loaves and the two fish, and* looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke them and began giving* them* to the disciples to set before the crowd. 17 And they all ate and were satisfied, and what was left over was picked up by them—twelve baskets of broken pieces.

A Woman with a Disabling Spirit Healed

10 Now he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. 11 And behold, a woman was there* who had a spirit that had disabled her* for eighteen years, and she was bent over and not able to straighten herself up completely.*12 And when he* saw her, Jesus summoned her* and said to her, "Woman, you are freed from your disability!" 13 And he placed his* hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and glorified God. 14 But the ruler of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, answered and* said to the crowd, "There are six days on which it is necessary to work. Therefore come and* be healed on them, and not on the day of the Sabbath!" 15 But the Lord answered and said to him, "Hypocrites! Does not each one of you untie his ox or his* donkey from the feeding trough on the Sabbath and lead it* away to water it?*16 And this woman, who is a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan bound eighteen* long years—is it not necessary that she be released from this bond on the day of the Sabbath?" 17 And when* he said these things, all those who opposed him were humiliated, and the whole crowd was rejoicing at all the splendid things that were being done by him.

11 This beginning of signs Jesus performed at Cana in Galilee, and revealed his glory, and his disciples believed in him.

14 Now when* the people saw the sign that he performed, they began to say,* "This one is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world!"

29 Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen me, have you believed? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."

Why This Book Was Written

30 Now Jesus also performed many other signs in the presence of the disciples* which are not recorded in this book, 31 but these things are recorded in order that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by* believing you may have life in his name.

8 So then the other disciple who had come to the tomb first also went in, and he saw and believed. 9 (For they did not yet know the scripture that it was necessary for him to rise from the dead.)

1 "If a prophet stands up in your midst or a dreamer of dreams* and he gives to you a sign or wonder, 2 and the sign or* the wonder comes about that he spoke* to you, saying,* ‘Let us go after other gods (those whom you have not known), and let us serve them,’ 3 you must not listen to the words of that prophet or to that dreamer, for Yahweh your God is testing you to know whether you love* Yahweh your God with all of your heart and with all of your inner self.*4 You shall go after Yahweh your God, and him you shall revere, and his commandment you shall keep, and to his voice you shall listen, and him you shall serve, and to him you shall hold fast.

13 And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet three unclean spirits like frogs. 14 For they are the spirits of demons performing signs that go out to the kings of the whole inhabited world, to gather them for the battle of the great day of God the All-Powerful.

The Sign of Jonah

38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered him saying, "Teacher, we want to see a sign from you!" 39 But he answered and* said to them, "An evil and adulterous generation desires a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah! 40 For just as Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish three days and three nights, so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights.

Woes Pronounced on Unrepentant Towns

20 Then he began to reproach the towns in which the majority of his miracles had been done, because they did not repent: 21 "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22 Nevertheless I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and for Sidon on the day of judgment than for you! 23 And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? No, you will be brought down to Hades! For if the miracles done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until today. 24 Nevertheless I tell you that it will be more bearable for the region of Sodom on the day of judgment than for you!"

13 Indeed you created my inward parts;*

you wove me in my mother’s womb.

14 I praise you, because I am fearfully

and wonderfully made.*

Wonderful are your works,

and my soul knows it well.

Praise for Yahweh’s Justice

1 I will thank Yahweh with all my heart.

I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you* a sign. Look! the virgin* is with child and she is about to give birth to a son, and she shall call his name ‘God with us.’

22 Now all this happened in order that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled, saying,

23 "Behold, the virgin will become pregnant* and will give birth to a son,

and they will call his name Emmanuel,"*

which is translated, "God with us."*

49 But when* they saw him walking on the sea, they thought that it was a ghost, and they cried out. 50 For they all saw him and were terrified. But immediately he spoke with them and said to them, "Have courage, I am he! Do not be afraid!"

50 But Jesus, when he* heard this,* replied to him, "Do not be afraid! Only believe, and she will be healed."

37 Now as* he was drawing near by this time to the descent from the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of the disciples began rejoicing to praise God with a loud voice for all the miracles that they had seen, 38 saying,

"Blessed is the king,

the one who comes in the name of the Lord!*

Peace in heaven

and glory in the highest!"

9 And after he* had said these things, while* they were watching, he was taken up, and a cloud received him from their sight.

7 and I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’

Plague Eight: Locusts

1 And Yahweh said to Moses, "Go to Pharaoh, for I have made his heart insensitive* and the heart of his servants in order to put these signs of mine in his midst, 2 so that you will tell in the ears of your child and your grandchild* that I dealt harshly with the Egyptians and so that you will tell about my signs that I have done among them, and so you will know that I am Yahweh."
