Morte e luto: qual é a esperança que a Bíblia oferece?

O que a Bíblia diz sobre a morte

A Bíblia não disfarça o peso do luto nem trata a morte como algo natural: ela é apresentada como o último inimigo. Mas as Escrituras afirmam com clareza que a sepultura não tem a palavra final para quem confia em Cristo.

Cristo venceu o poder da sepultura

55 O death, where [is] youri sting? O grave, where [is] youri victory?

56 The sting of death [is] sin; and the strength of sin [is] the law.

57 But thanks [be] to God-The Father, which gives us the victory through our Lord - Kurios [he to whom a person belongs] Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah].(1 Corinthians 15:55-57)

Tira o peso do desespero ao lembrar que o túmulo não encerra a história de quem crê.

26 The last enemy [that] shall be destroyed [is] death.(1 Corinthians 15:26)

Valida a dor da perda: a morte é uma ruptura real e dolorosa, mas com fim decretado por Deus.

Esperança e consolo no luto

25 Yeshua [God is Salvation] said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

26 And whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Believe youi this?(John 11:25,26)

Sustenta o coração diante da saudade com a promessa viva de que a comunhão com Jesus atravessa a sepultura.

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that you2f sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Yeshua [God is Salvation] died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Yeshua [God is Salvation] will God-The Father bring with him.(1 Thessalonians 4:13,14)

Dá espaço para chorar a dor da ausência sem se perder no desespero de quem não tem esperança.

Paz contra o medo da morte

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for youi [are] with me; youri rod and youri staff they comfort me.(Tehillim - Psalms 23:4)

Traz refúgio para a alma abatida, lembrando que o vale escuro é apenas sombra e que o Pastor caminha ao seu lado.

21 For to me to live [is] Moshiach [Messiah], and to die [is] gain.(Philippians 1:21)

Desarma o pavor do desconhecido e devolve a serenidade de saber que estar com Cristo é ganho, não perda.

8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord - Kurios; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord - Kurios: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord - Kurios’s.(Romans 14:8)

Acalma a ansiedade sobre a finitude: o Senhor cuida de você em qualquer circunstância, na vida e na partida.

A promessa da vida eterna

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor Principalities (rulers or their territory), nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God-The Father, which is in Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation] our Lord - Kurios.(Romans 8:38,39)

Ancora a alma na certeza de que nem a separação mais dolorosa deste mundo consegue romper o amor de Deus por você.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God-The Father [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God-The Father himself shall be with them, [and be] their God-The Father.

4 And God-The Father shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.(Revelation 21:3,4)

Dá força para suportar o luto hoje com a promessa de um dia em que toda lágrima será enxugada e a dor nunca mais existirá.
