17 Therefore, if anyone is *in Christ, he is *a new creation.**The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

10 *Create in me a *clean heart, O God,

and *renew a right* spirit within me.

11 *Cast me not away from your presence,

and take not *your Holy Spirit from me.

12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation,

and uphold me with a willing spirit.

1 *I appeal to you therefore, brothers,* by the mercies of God, *to present your bodies *as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.*2 *Do not be conformed to this world,* but be transformed by *the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may *discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.*

20 I have been *crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives *in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, *who loved me and *gave himself for me.

9 *If we confess our sins, he is *faithful and just to forgive us our sins and *to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

11 *For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare* and not for evil, *to give you a future and a hope.

6 *do not be anxious about anything, *but in everything by prayer and supplication *with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And *the peace of God, *which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved,* a worker *who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

6 *Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, *for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. *He will not leave you or forsake you."

13 "You are the salt of the earth, *but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet.

29 *Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give *grace to those who hear.

16 So we do not lose heart. *Though our outer self* is wasting away, *our inner self *is being renewed day by day. 17 For *this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, 18 *as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
