A mudança de vida é possível em Cristo. Não importa o passado, qual foi o erro ou quão fundo a queda — Deus renova, restaura e transforma completamente aquele que se volta para Ele.
Nova vida em Cristo
Se alguém está em Cristo, nova criação é. Deus nos dá coração novo, mente renovada e esperança para o futuro.
so then, if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation; the old things have passed on; look, all has become new!
I have been crucified with Christ, so it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me; what I now live in this body I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself in my place.
Passos para a transformação
A mudança começa com confissão, fé e decisão. Deus é fiel para perdoar e completar a boa obra que começou em nós.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition along with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, that surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Coragem para mudar
Não temas, porque Deus está contigo. Ele nos fortalece para sermos sal da terra e nos dá palavras que edificam e transformam.
You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt becomes insipid with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing except to be thrown out and trampled down by the people.
Let no evil word proceed from your mouth, but only what is good for edification, as needed, that it may impart grace to those who hear.
Therefore we do not lose heart—even though our outer man is wasting away, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day— because our light, momentary affliction is working out for us an eternal and limitless measure of glory, as we do not focus on the seen, but on the not seen; for what is seen is transitory, but what is unseen is eternal.
