1 I urge you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to God, your reasonable religious service. 2 Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may determine what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.

20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. The life that I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

6 Be anxious about nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. 7 And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

15 Be diligent to present yoʋrself to God as a proven worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly teaches the word of truth.

13 "You are the salt of the earth, but if salt loses its flavor, with what shall it be seasoned? It is no longer fit for anything but to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet.

29 Let no foul word come out of your mouth, but only what is good for edification, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though on the outside we are wasting away, on the inside we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary affliction is bringing about for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all measure, 18 as we look not to what is seen, but to what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
