Mudança
A mudança é constante na vida, mas Deus é imutável. A Bíblia nos ensina a abraçar a transformação espiritual enquanto confiamos no Deus que é o mesmo ontem, hoje e sempre.
Deus é imutável
Jesus Cristo é o mesmo ontem, hoje e para sempre. Deus não muda — Ele é a rocha firme em meio às mudanças constantes da vida.
8 Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, and today, and for ever.
17 every good gift, and every perfect gift, is from above, descended from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness, nor shadow of turning.
31 For heaven and earth shall fail: but my words shall not fail.
Transformação em Cristo
Se alguém está em Cristo, é nova criação. Somos transformados de glória em glória à imagem do Senhor pelo poder do Espírito.
17 For, if any one be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new!
18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding, as in a mirror, the glory of the Lord; are transformed into the same image, from glory to glory, as by the Lord, the Spirit.
2 And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind; that you may approve the will of God, which is good, and acceptable, and perfect.
2 Beloved, now we are the children of God; but it does not yet appear what we shall be. However, we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him-that we shall see him as he is.
21 who will transform our humbled body into a like form with his glorious body, according to the energy of his power, even to subject all things to himself.
51 Behold, I tell you a secret: we shall not, indeed, all die; but we shall all be changed;52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for it shall sound, and then the dead shall be raised incorruptible; and we shall be changed.
Arrependimento como mudança
Arrependei-vos, pois, e convertei-vos. O arrependimento é a mudança mais radical — da morte para a vida, do pecado para a graça.
8 Produce, then, the proper fruit of reformation;
3 I tell you, No: but unless you reform, you shall all likewise perish;
19 Reform, therefore, and return to God, that so your sins may be blotted out; that seasons of refreshment may come from the presence of the Lord,
Tempos e ciclos
Para tudo há uma estação e um tempo para cada propósito debaixo do céu. Deus faz novas todas as coisas no tempo certo.
3 Knowing this first, that scoffers will come in the last days, walking after their own lusts,4 and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for from the time the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as at the beginning of the creation.5 But this willfully escapes them, that, by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth subsisting from the water, and by water:6 by which the world that then was, being deluged with water, perished.7 But the present heavens and the earth, by the same word are treasured up, being kept for fire to a day of judgment, and destruction of ungodly men.
