Mudança
A mudança é constante na vida, mas Deus é imutável. A Bíblia nos ensina a abraçar a transformação espiritual enquanto confiamos no Deus que é o mesmo ontem, hoje e sempre.
Deus é imutável
Jesus Cristo é o mesmo ontem, hoje e para sempre. Deus não muda — Ele é a rocha firme em meio às mudanças constantes da vida.
Jesus Christ—the same yesterday and today and for all ages.
"For I, YHWH, have not changed, || And you, the sons of Jacob, || You have not been consumed.
Every good giving, and every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variation, or shadow of turning;
the heaven and the earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.
Transformação em Cristo
Se alguém está em Cristo, é nova criação. Somos transformados de glória em glória à imagem do Senhor pelo poder do Espírito.
so that if anyone [is] in Christ—[he is] a new creature; the old things passed away, behold, all things have become new.
and we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the LORD in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image, from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.
and do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, for your proving what [is] the will of God—the good, and acceptable, and perfect.
Beloved, now, we are children of God, and it was not yet revealed what we will be. We have known that if He may have appeared, we will be like Him, because we will see Him as He is;
who will transform the body of our humiliation to its becoming conformed to the body of His glory, according to the working of His power, even to subject all things to Himself.
Behold, I tell you a secret: we indeed will not all sleep, but we will all be changed; in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, in the last trumpet, for it will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed;
Arrependimento como mudança
Arrependei-vos, pois, e convertei-vos. O arrependimento é a mudança mais radical — da morte para a vida, do pecado para a graça.
Bear, therefore, fruits worthy of conversion,
No—I say to you, but if you may not convert, even so will all you perish.
convert, therefore, and turn back, for your sins being blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the LORD,
Tempos e ciclos
Para tudo há uma estação e um tempo para cada propósito debaixo do céu. Deus faz novas todas as coisas no tempo certo.
To everything—a season, and a time to every delight under the heavens:
A generation is going, and a generation is coming, and the earth is standing for all time. Also, the sun has risen, and the sun has gone in, and to its place panting it is rising there. Going to the south, and turning around to the north, turning around, turning around, the wind is going, and by its circuits the wind has returned. All the streams are going to the sea, and the sea is not full; to a place to where the streams are going, there they are turning back to go.
What [is] that which has been? It [is] that which is, and what [is] that which has been done? It [is] that which is done, and there is not an entirely new thing under the sun. There is a thing of which [one] says: "See this, it [is] new!" Already it has been in the ages that were before us!
Behold, I am doing a new thing, now it springs up, || Do you not know it? Indeed, I put a way in a wilderness, || In a desolate place—floods.
knowing this first, that there will come scoffers in the last days, going on according to their own desires, and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things so remain from the beginning of the creation"; for this they willingly conceal, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth having been established by the word of God out of water and through water, through which the world then, having been flooded by water, was destroyed; and by the same word, the present heavens and earth, having been stored up for fire, are being preserved until [the] day of judgment and destruction of impious men.
