A mulher na criação
Deus criou o homem e a mulher à sua imagem. A mulher foi formada como ajudadora idônea — parceira de igual dignidade e valor.
And God made man, according to the image of God he made him, male and female he made them.
And God brought a trance upon Adam, and he slept, and he took one of his ribs, and filled up the flesh instead thereof. And God formed the rib which he took from Adam into a woman, and brought her to Adam. And Adam said, This now is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called woman, because she was taken out of her husband.
Virtude e caráter
A beleza é vã e a formosura passageira, mas a mulher que teme ao Senhor é digna de louvor. Seu caráter é seu maior tesouro.
Charms are false, and woman’s beauty is vain: for it is a wise woman that is blessed, and let her praise the fear of the Lord.
Wise women build houses: but a foolish one digs hers down with her hands.
A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband; but as a worm in wood, so a bad woman destroys her husband.
A gracious wife brings glory to her husband: but a woman hating righteousness is a theme of dishonour. The slothful come to want: but the diligent support themselves with wealth.
Fathers divide house and substance to their children: but a wife is suited to a man by the Lord.
It is better to dwell in a wilderness than with a quarrelsome and talkative and passionate woman.
And now fear not, my daughter, whatever thou shalt say I will do to thee; for all the tribe of my people knows that thou art a virtuous woman.

As mulheres da Bíblia foram líderes, profetisas e discípulas fiéis. Jesus honrou as mulheres e as incluiu em seu ministério.
