Mulher
27 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept; and he took one of his sides and closed up the flesh in its place;22 and the LORD God built [that] which he had taken from the side of the man into a woman and brought her unto the man.23 And the man said, This [is] now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman because she was taken out of Man.
Virtude e caráter
A beleza é vã e a formosura passageira, mas a mulher que teme ao Senhor é digna de louvor. Seu caráter é seu maior tesouro.
30 [Schin] Grace [is] deceitful, and beauty [is] vain, [but] the woman that fears the LORD shall be praised.
1 Every wise woman builds her house, but the foolish plucks it down with her hands.
4 The virtuous woman [is] a crown to her husband, but she that makes ashamed [is] as rottenness in his bones.
16 The gracious woman retains honour, and strong [men] retain riches.
14 House and riches [are] the inheritance from fathers, but the prudent wife [is] from the LORD.
19 [It is] better to dwell in the wilderness than with a contentious and an angry woman.
11 And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do unto thee all that thou hast said, for all the city of my people know that thou [art] a valiant woman.
Sabedoria e serviço
As mulheres da Bíblia foram líderes, profetisas e discípulas fiéis. Jesus honrou as mulheres e as incluiu em seu ministério.
1 And it came to pass afterward that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and announcing the gospel of the kingdom of God, and the twelve with him,2 and certain women, who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,3 and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others who ministered unto him of their substance.
1 Likewise, ye wives, [be] in subjection to your own husbands, so that also those who do not obey the Word, may be won without a word by the conversation of their wives,
7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with [them] wisely, giving honour unto the woman, as unto a more fragile vessel and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers not be hindered.
11 The wives likewise [are to be] honest, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.
3 The aged women likewise, that [they be] in behaviour as becomes holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of honesty;4 that they may teach the young women to be prudent, to love their husbands, to love their children,5 [to be] temperate, chaste, good housekeepers, subject to their own husbands, that the word of God not be blasphemed.
