Namoro e sexo
Namoro e sexo são temas que a Bíblia trata com clareza e sem tabus. Deus criou o sexo como bênção dentro do casamento e nos chama à pureza fora dele.
Pureza sexual
A vontade de Deus é a santificação. Cada um saiba controlar seu próprio corpo em santidade e honra, não na paixão do desejo.
for this is the will of God—your sanctification: that you abstain from the whoredom, that each of you know to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the affection of desire, as also the nations that were not knowing God,
the meats [are] for the belly, and the belly for the meats. And God will make useless both this and these; and the body [is] not for whoredom, but for the LORD, and the LORD for the body;
and everyone who is having this hope on Him, purifies himself, even as He is pure.
Arrependimento e restauração
Bem-aventurado aquele cujo pecado é perdoado. Deus restaura os que se arrependem e cria neles um coração limpo e renovado.
AN INSTRUCTION OF DAVID. O the blessedness of him whose transgression [is] forgiven, || Whose sin is covered. O the blessedness of a man, || To whom YHWH does not impute iniquity, || And in whose spirit there is no deceit. When I have kept silence, my bones have become old, || Through my roaring all the day. When by day and by night Your hand is heavy on me, || My moisture has been changed || Into the droughts of summer. Selah. I cause You to know my sin, || And I have not covered my iniquity. I have said, "I confess to YHWH concerning My transgressions," || And You have taken away the iniquity of my sin. Selah. For every saintly one prays this to You, || In the time to find [You]. Surely at an overflowing of many waters, || They do not come to him.
Thoroughly wash me from my iniquity, || And cleanse me from my sin, For I know my transgressions, || And my sin [is] continually before me. Against You, You only, I have sinned, || And done evil in Your eyes, || So that You are righteous in Your words, || You are pure in Your judging.
You cleanse me with hyssop and I am clean, || Wash me, and I am whiter than snow. You cause me to hear joy and gladness, || You make bones You have bruised joyful. Hide Your face from my sin. And blot out all my iniquities. Create for me a clean heart, O God, || And renew a right spirit within me. Do not cast me forth from Your presence, || And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, || And a willing spirit sustains me.
