Namoro e sexo
3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from immorality:4 That each one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;5 Not in the lust of passion, even as the Gentiles who know not God:
13 Food is for the stomach, and the stomach is for food: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for immorality, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. Meats: not flesh only, but food of any kind
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
Arrependimento e restauração
Bem-aventurado aquele cujo pecado é perdoado. Deus restaura os que se arrependem e cria neles um coração limpo e renovado.

A Psalm…: or, A Psalm of David giving instruction2 Blessed is the man to whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.3 When I kept silence, my bones became old through my roaring all the day long.4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.5 I acknowledged my sin to thee, and my iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.6 For this shall every one that is godly pray to thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come near to him. when…: Heb. of finding
2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mayest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. right: or, constant11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy Holy Spirit from me.12 Restore to me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
