Não desista!
'Não desista!' é o grito do céu para a terra. Deus nos encoraja a perseverar na fé, na oração e na esperança, porque a vitória pertence aos que não se rendem.
Força na fraqueza
Os que esperam no Senhor renovam as forças. Deus não se cansa nem se fatiga — Ele dá poder aos fracos e vigor aos cansados.
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The God of the age—YHWH, || Preparer of the ends of the earth, || Is not wearied nor fatigued, || There is no searching of His understanding. He is giving power to the weary, || And to those not strong He increases might. Even youths are wearied and fatigued, || And young men utterly stumble, But those expecting YHWH pass [to] power, || They raise up the pinion as eagles, || They run and are not fatigued, || They go on and do not faint!
For the people in Zion dwell in Jerusalem, || Do not weep—weeping, || Pitying, He pities you at the voice of your cry, || When He hears He answers you.
And now, thus said YHWH, Your Creator, O Jacob, and your Fashioner, O Israel: Do not be afraid, for I have redeemed you, || I have called on your name—you [are] Mine. When you pass into waters, I [am] with you, || And into floods, they do not overflow you, || When you go into fire, you are not burned, || And a flame does not burn against you. For I—your God YHWH, || The Holy One of Israel, your Savior, || I have appointed Egypt your atonement, || Cush and Seba in your stead.
I have known both to be abased, and I have known to abound; in everything and in all things I have been initiated, both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in want. I have strength for all things, in Christ’s strengthening me;
for this reason, we do not faint, but if our outward man also decays, yet the inward is renewed day by day; for the momentary light matter of our tribulation works out for us more and more an exceedingly continuous weight of glory— we [are] not looking to the things seen, but to the things not seen; for the things seen [are] temporary, but the things not seen [are] continuous.
Perseverança na fé
Não perca a confiança, pois ela tem grande recompensa. O justo viverá pela fé, e quem perseverar até o fim será salvo.
You may not cast away, then, your boldness, which has great repayment of reward,
may we hold fast the unwavering profession of the hope (for He who promised [is] faithful), and may we consider to provoke one another to love and to good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as [is] a custom of some, but exhorting, and so much the more as you see the Day coming near.
and apart from faith it is impossible to please [Him], for it is required of him who is coming to God to believe that He exists and [that] He becomes a rewarder to those seeking Him.
for the Word of God is living, and working, and sharper—beyond every two-edged sword—and piercing as far as [the] division of soul and spirit, of joints and also marrows, and a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart;
and in doing good we should not be weary, for at the proper time we will reap—not desponding;
Behold, I come quickly, be holding fast that which you have, that no one may receive your garland.
Here is endurance of the holy ones; here [are] those keeping the commands of God, and the faith of Jesus."
Blessed [is] the man who endures temptation, because, becoming approved, he will receive the garland of life, which the LORD promised to those loving Him.
Deus é refúgio
O Senhor é nosso refúgio e fortaleza. Ele ouve nossas orações, nos consola nas tribulações e transforma choro em dança.
TO THE OVERSEER. BY SONS OF KORAH. FOR GIRLS’ [VOICES]. A SONG. God [is] our refuge and strength, || A most sure help in adversities.
Cast on YHWH that which He has given you, || And He sustains you, || He does not permit the moving of the righteous forever.
And YHWH is a tower for the bruised, || A tower for times of adversity. They trust in You who know Your Name, || For You have not forsaken those seeking You, O YHWH.
Those sowing in tears, reap with singing, Whoever goes on and weeps, || Carrying the basket of seed, || Surely comes in with singing, carrying his sheaves!
Be strong, and He strengthens your heart, || All you who are waiting for YHWH!
[NUN] Your word [is] a lamp to my foot, || And a light to my path.
YHWH [is] near to all those calling Him, || To all who call Him in truth. He does the desire of those fearing Him, || And He hears their cry, and saves them.
Vitória em Cristo
Jesus venceu o mundo e nos dá vitória. Para Deus nada é impossível, e Ele faz infinitamente mais do que pedimos ou pensamos.
these things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace, in the world you will have tribulation, but take courage—I have overcome the world."
From this [time] many of His disciples went away backward, and were no longer walking with Him, Jesus, therefore, said to the Twelve, "Do you also wish to go away?" Simon Peter, therefore, answered Him, "Lord, to whom will we go? You have sayings of continuous life; and we have believed, and we have known, that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
I will not leave you bereaved, I come to you;
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you; for everyone who is asking receives, and he who is seeking finds, and to him who is knocking it will be opened.
Come to Me, all you laboring and burdened ones, and I will give you rest; take up My yoke on you, and learn from Me, because I am meek and humble in heart, and you will find rest to your souls, for My yoke [is] easy, and My burden is light."
And Jesus having earnestly beheld, said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
because nothing will be impossible with God."
Esperança e transformação
O Senhor completa a boa obra que começou em nós. Ele faz novas todas as coisas e dá esperança para o futuro.
having been confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you, will complete [it] until [the] day of Jesus Christ,
so that if anyone [is] in Christ—[he is] a new creature; the old things passed away, behold, all things have become new.
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and the sea is no more; and I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of Heaven, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband; and I heard a great voice out of Heaven, saying, "Behold, the dwelling place of God [is] with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His peoples, and God Himself will be with them [as] their God, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor will there be anymore pain, because the first things passed away."
Good [is] YHWH for a strong place in a day of distress. And He knows those trusting in Him.
For I have known the thoughts that I am thinking toward you—a declaration of YHWH; thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give posterity and hope to you.
and you, be strong, and do not let your hands be feeble, for there is a reward for your work."
Permanecendo firme
Persevere na oração, firme-se na Palavra e fortaleça-se na graça de Cristo. A fé vem pelo ouvir, e o ouvir pela Palavra de Deus.
in the diligence not slothful; in the spirit fervent; serving the LORD; in the hope rejoicing; in the tribulation enduring; in the prayer persevering;

So then faith [is] by a report, and the report through a saying of God,
And we have known that to those loving God all things work together for good, to those who are called according to purpose;
Every Writing [is] God-breathed, and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for instruction that [is] in righteousness, that the man of God may be fitted—having been completed for every good work.
Hold the pattern of sound words, which you heard from me, in faith and love that [is] in Christ Jesus; guard the good thing committed through the Holy Spirit that is dwelling in us;
and may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who loved us, and gave continuous comfort, and good hope in grace, comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work.
if we may confess our sins, He is steadfast and righteous that He may forgive us the sins, and may cleanse us from every unrighteousness;
And this is the boldness that we have toward Him, that if we may ask anything according to His will, He hears us, and if we have known that He hears us, whatever we may ask, we have known that we have the requests that we have requested from Him.
it bears all things, it believes all, it hopes all, it endures all.
