Quando as forças do corpo e da mente chegam ao fim

A vontade de parar quase sempre bate quando a carga fica pesada demais e não sobra energia para continuar. A Bíblia não exige que você seja forte o tempo todo, mas mostra onde encostar o cansaço.

28 Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth

Does not become weary or tired.

His understanding is unsearchable.

29 He gives strength to the weary,

And to the one who lacks might He increases power.

30 Though youths grow weary and tired,

And vigorous young men stumble badly,

31 Yet those who wait for the Lord

Will gain new strength;

They will mount up with wings like eagles,

They will run and not get tired,

They will walk and not become weary.(Isaiah 40:28-31)

Tira das suas costas a obrigação de dar conta de tudo sozinho quando o seu estoque de energia zera.

28 "Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will findrest for your souls.30 For My yoke is comfortable, and My burden is light."(Matthew 11:28-30)

Dá a você a permissão de admitir o cansaço e soltar a carga antes de desmoronar.

Quando você não vê o resultado de tanto esforço

A sensação de que nada sai do lugar é uma das razões mais comuns para pensar em desistir. Quando o retorno não aparece, fica difícil acreditar na continuidade da caminhada.

9 Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary.(Galatians 6:9)

Lembra que a demora da colheita não significa que o seu empenho diário está sendo desperdiçado.

35 Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.(Hebrews 10:35)

Segura a sua mão no exato momento em que abrir mão de tudo parece a saída mais rápida para o alívio.

5 Those who sow in tears shall harvest with joyful shouting.

6 One who goes here and there weeping, carrying his bag of seed,

Shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.(Psalm 126:5,6)

Garante que o choro vivido no plantio não cancela a alegria de quando a colheita chegar.

Quando a dor faz parecer que não vale a pena lutar

Há dias em que o cansaço vem acompanhado de aflição, perdas ou da sensação de estar sozinho contra o mundo.

33 These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world."(John 16:33)

Desfaz a ilusão de que a caminhada seria sem dor e ancora o coração na paz de Cristo no meio do caos.

16 Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer person is decaying, yet our inner person is being renewed day by day. 17 For our momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, 18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.(2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

Muda o foco do desgaste visível do corpo para a renovação que Deus constrói por dentro, dia após dia.

6 For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work among you will complete it by the day of Christ Jesus.(Philippians 1:6)

Traz o alívio de saber que a sua história não depende apenas do seu fôlego, porque Deus não abandona obras pela metade.
