12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether having plenty or being in need. 13 I can do all things through *Christ who strengthens me.

Living by Faith

16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though on the outside we are wasting away, on the inside we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary affliction is bringing about for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all measure, 18 as we look not to what is seen, but to what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

35 Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.

23 Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how to spur one another on to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, for anyone who comes to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the point of dividing soul from spirit, and joints from marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

9 So let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not give up.

Enduring Temptation

12 Blessed is the man who *14 ¦ will endure 𝔐5endures temptation, for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life, which *the Lord has promised to those who love him.

33 I have said these things to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but take heart; I have overcome the world."

Ask, Seek, Knock

28 Come to me, all of you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

11 Do not lack diligence in zeal, but be fervent in spirit, serving the *Lord. 12 Rejoice in hope, persevere in tribulation, and persist in prayer.

16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by his grace, 17 comfort *your hearts and establish you in every good *word and work.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

14 This is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have what we have asked of him.

7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.
