Não temas
'Não temas' é uma das frases mais repetidas na Bíblia. Deus a pronuncia nos momentos de maior temor, lembrando que sua presença e poder são maiores que qualquer ameaça.
Deus está contigo
Não temas, porque eu sou contigo. Deus repete essa promessa em cada crise, guerra e desafio que seus filhos enfrentam.
Fear not; for I am with thee: wander not; for I am thy God, who have strengthened thee; and I have helped thee, and have established thee with my just right hand.
For I am thy God, who holdeth thy right hand, who saith to thee, Fear not, Jacob, and thou Israel few in number; I have helped thee, saith thy God, he that redeems thee, O Israel.
O thou that bringest glad tidings to Zion, go up on the high mountain; lift up thy voice with strength, thou that bringest glad tidings to Jerusalem; lift it up, fear not; say unto the cities of Juda, Behold your God!
Lo! I have commanded thee; be strong and courageous, be not cowardly nor fearful, for the Lord thy God is with thee in all places whither thou goest.
Be courageous and strong, fear not, neither be cowardly, neither be afraid before them; for it is the Lord your God that advances with you in the midst of you, neither will he by any means forsake thee, nor desert thee.
And after these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram, I shield thee, thy reward shall be very great.
Coragem diante do perigo
Não tenhas medo — o Senhor teu Deus está no meio de ti, poderoso para salvar. Ele luta por nós e dá forças aos medrosos.
At that time the Lord shall say to Jerusalem, Be of good courage, Sion; let not thine hands be slack. The Lord thy God is in thee; the Mighty One shall save thee: he shall bring joy upon thee, and shall refresh thee with his love; and he shall rejoice over thee with delight as in a day of feasting.
And Elisaie said, Fear not, for they who are with us are more than they that are with them. And Elisaie prayed, and said, Lord, open, I pray thee, the eyes of the servant, and let him see. And the Lord opened his eyes, and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses, and there were chariots of fire round about Elisaie.
Be of good courage, O land; rejoice and be glad: for the Lord has done great things.
And the Lord said to me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all to whomsoever I shall send thee, and according to all the words that I shall command thee, thou shalt speak. Be not afraid before them: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord.
And thou, son of man, fear them not, nor be dismayed at their face; (for they will madden and will rise up against thee round about, and thou dwellest in the midst of scorpions): be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their countenance, for it is a provoking house. And thou shalt speak my words to them, whether they will hear or fear: for it is a provoking house.
Fé que vence o medo
O medo não vem de Deus. Jesus disse: não temas, crê somente! A fé dissipa o medo e nos conecta ao poder de Deus.
