'Não temas' é uma das frases mais repetidas na Bíblia. Deus a pronuncia nos momentos de maior temor, lembrando que sua presença e poder são maiores que qualquer ameaça.
Deus está contigo
Não temas, porque eu sou contigo. Deus repete essa promessa em cada crise, guerra e desafio que seus filhos enfrentam.
Coragem diante do perigo
Não tenhas medo — o Senhor teu Deus está no meio de ti, poderoso para salvar. Ele luta por nós e dá forças aos medrosos.
9 One night the Lord said to Paul in a vision,"Stop being afraid to speak out! Do not be silent!10 For I am with you, and no one will lay a hand on you or harm you, because I have many people in this city."
Fé que vence o medo
O medo não vem de Deus. Jesus disse: não temas, crê somente! A fé dissipa o medo e nos conecta ao poder de Deus.
36 But when Jesus heard what they said, he told the synagogue leader,"Stop being afraid! Just keep on believing."
10 Don't be afraid of what you are going to suffer. Look! The devil is going to throw some of you into prison so that you may be tested. For ten days you will undergo suffering. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the victor's crown of life.
