Cada bebê que nasce é uma dádiva de Deus. A Bíblia celebra o nascimento como obra das mãos do Criador, que forma cada criança no ventre com amor e propósito.
Formados por Deus
Deus tece cada bebê no ventre materno. Antes mesmo de nascer, somos conhecidos e amados pelo Criador de todas as coisas.
For thou hast possessed my kidneys: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvellous are thy works, and that, my soul knows right well.
My body was not hid from thee, even though I was made in secret and brought together in the lowest parts of the earth.
Thine eyes did see my substance yet being imperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which were then formed, without lacking one of them.
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the Gentiles.
But thou art he that took me out of the womb; thou hast made me wait upon thee since I was upon my mother’s breasts.
As thou dost not know what is the way of the spirit nor how the bones grow in the womb of her that is with child, even so thou dost not know the works of God who makes all.
I, who make births to happen, shall I not be with child? saith the Lord; I, who causes conception, shall I be stopped? saith thy God.
Bênção e presente
Os filhos são herança do Senhor. Cada bebê é uma boa dádiva que vem do alto, do Pai das luzes, motivo de alegria e gratidão.
Behold, sons are a heritage of the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is to be desired.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness neither shadow of turning.
For this child I prayed, and the Lord has given me my petition which I asked of him.
The woman, when she is in travail, has pain, because her hour is come; but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembers the anguish no more, for joy that a man is born into the world.
Acolher as crianças
Jesus acolheu as crianças e as abençoou. O Senhor ama cada pequenino e reserva para eles o Reino dos céus.
But Jesus said, Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of the heavens.
And taking them up in his arms and putting his hands upon them, he blessed them.
