O nascimento é obra das mãos de Deus. Cada criança é formada por Ele no ventre materno com propósito e amor. A Bíblia celebra a vida desde a concepção até a eternidade.
O nascimento de Jesus
O maior nascimento da história mudou o curso da humanidade. Jesus nasceu de uma virgem pelo poder do Espírito Santo, conforme as profecias.
Now the birth of Jesus Christ occurred in this way. His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant by the Holy Spirit. So Joseph her husband, being righteous and not wanting to disgrace her, intended to divorce her secretly. But as he was considering these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for what has been conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. And she will give birth to a son, and you will call his name ‘Jesus,’ because he will save his people from their sins."
Now all this happened in order that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled, saying,
"Behold, the virgin will become pregnant and will give birth to a son,
and they will call his name Emmanuel,"
which is translated, "God with us."And Joseph, when he woke up from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and he took his wife and did not have sexual relations with her until she gave birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus.
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Look! the virgin is with child and she is about to give birth to a son, and she shall call his name ‘God with us.’
Now in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin legally promised in marriage to a man named Joseph of the house of David. And the name of the virgin was Mary.
And the angel said to her,
"Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
And behold, you will conceive in the womb and will give birth to a son,
and you will call his name Jesus.
This one will be great, and he will be called the Son of the Most High,
and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David.
And he will reign over the house of Jacob forever,
and of his kingdom there will be no end.
And Mary said to the angel, "How will this be, since I have not had sexual relations with a man?" And the angel answered and said to her,
"The Holy Spirit will come upon you,
and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.
Therefore also the one to be born will be called holy, the Son of God.
Formados desde o ventre
Deus nos teceu no ventre de nossa mãe. Antes de nascermos, Ele já nos conhecia e nos separou para um propósito sagrado.
Indeed you created my inward parts;
you wove me in my mother’s womb.
I praise you, because I am fearfully
and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works,
and my soul knows it well.
My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was created secretly,
and intricately woven
in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my embryo,
and in your book they all were written—
days fashioned for me when there was not one of them.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
and before you came out from the womb I consecrated you;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
Yet you took me from the belly;
you made me trust while on my mother’s breasts.
On you I was cast from the womb.
From my mother’s belly you have been my God.
Upon you I have leaned from birth.
It was you who took me from the womb of my mother.
My praise is of you continually.
Can a woman forget her suckling,
refrain from having compassion on the child of her womb?
Indeed, these may forget,
but I, I will not forget you!
Shall I myself I break open and not deliver?" says Yahweh,
"or I who delivers lock up the womb?" says your God.
Crianças — bênção e promessa
Jesus acolheu as crianças e disse: delas é o Reino dos céus. Os filhos são herança do Senhor e motivo de alegria para os pais.
But Jesus said, "Allow the children, and do not forbid them to come to me, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven."
Therefore whoever humbles himself like this child, this person is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven, and whoever welcomes one child such as this in my name welcomes me.
And after taking them into his arms, he blessed them, placing his hands on them.
Look, children are the heritage of Yahweh;
the fruit of the womb is a reward.
I prayed for this boy, and Yahweh has given me my request that I asked from him.
For you, O Yahweh, have made me glad by your work;
by the deeds of your hands I sing for joy.
Nascer de novo
Jesus ensinou que é preciso nascer de novo para ver o Reino de Deus. O novo nascimento é espiritual — pelo Espírito e pela Palavra.
Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly I say to you, unless someone is born from above, he is not able to see the kingdom of God."
A woman, when she gives birth, experiences pain because her hour has come. But when her child is born, she no longer remembers the affliction, on account of the joy that a human being has been born into the world.
Everyone who is fathered by God does not practice sin, because his seed resides in him, and he is not able to sin, because he has been fathered by God.
Sing to him; sing praises to him;
tell of his wondrous works!
