O que a Bíblia ensina sobre o nascimento

Na Bíblia, o nascimento não é fruto do acaso: é um ato criador de Deus, que planeja e sustenta cada vida desde o ventre materno. As Escrituras tratam a chegada de uma criança como dádiva divina e apontam para dois outros nascimentos centrais na fé: a encarnação histórica de Jesus e o novo nascimento espiritual de quem crê.

Formados por Deus no ventre materno

A gestação é descrita no Antigo Testamento como uma obra cuidadosa das mãos do Criador. Os textos bíblicos mostram que Deus não espera o parto para conhecer o ser humano — Ele se relaciona com a pessoa e estabelece o seu propósito antes mesmo do nascimento.

13 For You have possessed my reins, || You cover me in my mother’s belly. 14 I confess You, because I have been fearfully distinguished. Your works [are] wonderful, || And my soul is knowing [it] well. 15 My substance was not hid from You, || When I was made in secret, || Curiously worked in the lower part of earth. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance, || And all of them are written on Your scroll, || The days they were formed—And not one among them.(Psalms 139:13-16)

5 "Before I form you in the belly, I have known you; and before you come forth from the womb I have separated you; I have made you a prophet to the nations."(Jeremiah 1:5)

9 For You [are] He bringing Me forth from the womb, || Causing Me to trust, || On the breasts of My mother.(Psalms 22:9)

10 On You I have been cast from the womb, || From the belly of My mother You [are] My God.(Psalms 22:10)

6 I have been supported from the womb by You, || You cut me out from my mother’s bowels, || My praise [is] continually in You.(Psalms 71:6)

15 "Does a woman forget her suckling, || The loved one—the son of her womb? Indeed, these forget—but I do not forget you.(Isaiah 49:15)

9 Do I bring to the birth, || And not cause to bring forth?" says YHWH, || "Am I not He who is causing to beget? I have also restrained," said your God.(Isaiah 66:9)

O nascimento de Jesus e o cumprimento da promessa

O nascimento de Jesus em Belém marca a entrada do próprio Deus na história humana. Os Evangelhos destacam a concepção virginal operada pelo Espírito Santo como o cumprimento direto das profecias messiânicas anunciadas séculos antes pelos profetas.

14 Therefore the Lord Himself gives a sign to you, || Behold, the virgin is conceiving, || And is bringing forth a Son, || And has called His Name Immanuel,(Isaiah 7:14)

26 And in the sixth month the messenger Gabriel was sent by God, to a city of Galilee, the name of which [is] Nazareth, 27 to a virgin, betrothed to a man, whose name [is] Joseph, of the house of David, and the name of the virgin [is] Mary.(Luke 1:26,27)

30 And the messenger said to her, "Do not fear, Mary, for you have found favor with God; 31 and behold, you will conceive in the womb, and will bring forth a Son, and call His Name Jesus; 32 He will be great, and He will be called Son of the Highest, and the LORD God will give Him the throne of His father David, 33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob for all ages; and of His kingdom there will be no end."(Luke 1:30-33)

34 And Mary said to the messenger, "How will this be, seeing I do not know a husband?" 35 And the messenger answering said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you, therefore also the holy-begotten thing will be called Son of God;(Luke 1:34,35)

18 And of Jesus Christ, the birth was thus: for His mother Mary having been betrothed to Joseph, before their coming together she was found to have conceived from the Holy Spirit, 19 and her husband Joseph being righteous, and not willing to make her an example, resolved to send her away privately. 20 And on his thinking of these things, behold, a messenger of the LORD appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, you may not fear to receive your wife Mary, for that which was begotten in her is of [the] Holy Spirit, 21 and she will bring forth a Son, and you will call His Name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins."(Matthew 1:18-21)

22 And all this has come to pass, that it may be fulfilled that was spoken by the LORD through the prophet, saying, 23 "Behold, the virgin will conceive, and she will bring forth a Son, and they will call His Name Emmanuel," which is, being interpreted, "God with us." 24 And Joseph, having risen from sleep, did as the messenger of the LORD directed him, and received his wife, 25 and did not know her until she brought forth her Son—the firstborn, and he called His Name Jesus.(Matthew 1:22-25)

Filhos e crianças como dádiva divina

A Bíblia celebra o nascimento de uma criança como herança do Senhor e consolo para os pais. Jesus reafirmou o valor dos pequenos ao colocá-los como exemplo de fé e dependência para quem deseja entrar no Reino de Deus.

3 Behold, sons [are] an inheritance of YHWH, || The fruit of the womb [is] a reward.(Psalms 127:3)

27 I prayed for this youth, and YHWH gives to me my petition which I asked of Him;(1 Samuel 1:27)

21 The woman, when she may bear, has sorrow, because her hour came, and when she may bear the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, because of the joy that a man was born into the world.(John 16:21)

4 whoever then may humble himself as this child, he is the greater in the kingdom of the heavens. 5 And he who may receive one such child in My Name, receives Me,(Matthew 18:4,5)

14 But Jesus said, "Permit the children, and do not forbid them to come to Me, for of such is the kingdom of the heavens";(Matthew 19:14)

16 and having taken them in His arms, having put [His] hands on them, He was blessing them.(Mark 10:16)

O novo nascimento espiritual

Além do nascimento biológico, o Novo Testamento fala de um segundo nascimento. Em conversa com o fariseu Nicodemos, Jesus ensinou que, assim como ninguém controla o próprio parto natural, a vida com Deus exige uma regeneração operada pelo Espírito Santo.

3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone may not be born from above, he is not able to see the Kingdom of God";(John 3:3)

9 everyone who has been begotten of God, he does not sin, because His seed remains in him, and he is not able to sin, because he has been begotten of God.(1 John 3:9)
