O que a Bíblia ensina sobre o Natal
O Natal é a celebração da encarnação de Jesus Cristo, quando o Filho de Deus se fez homem para resgatar a humanidade do pecado. O relato bíblico não trata essa data como uma festa sazonal ou um símbolo vago de união, mas como um acontecimento histórico: o cumprimento fiel das promessas que Deus fez a Israel ao longo do Antigo Testamento.
A profecia de Emanuel cumprida em Jesus
Séculos antes do nascimento de Jesus, o profeta Isaías anunciou que uma virgem conceberia um filho cujo nome seria Emanuel, que significa "Deus conosco". O Evangelho de Mateus registra como essa promessa se cumpriu quando Maria engravidou por ação do Espírito Santo, e o anjo orientou José sobre o propósito do nascimento: salvar o povo dos seus pecados.
Therefore the Lord-Adonai (The Father) [Greatest Above All Things] himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Emmanu’El (With Us is The Creator God).(Isaiah 7:14)
While he thought on this matter in his heart, behold an angel appeared to him in a dream and said: "Yosef [he will add] ben David [Beloved] do not fear to take Miryam [waters of strength] as your wife because she is with Child by Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit [Ruach])".(Gosel 1:20)
"She will bear a son and you will call his name Yeshua [God is Salvation] because he will save My people from their sins".(Gosel 1:21)
Then Yosef [he will add] awoke from his sleep, did according to all which the angel of Yehovah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] commanded him, and took her as his wife.
But he did not have intercourse with her until she brought forth her firstborn Son and he called his name Yeshua [God is Salvation].(Gosel 1:22,23)
O nascimento de Jesus em Belém
O Evangelho de Lucas situa o nascimento dentro da história do Império Romano. Por causa de um recenseamento decretado por César Augusto, José e Maria precisaram viajar de Nazaré, na Galileia, até Belém, na Judeia — a cidade de Davi. Foi nesse cenário simples, sem espaço na hospedaria, que Jesus nasceu e foi acomodado em uma manjedoura.
And Yosef [God will add] also went up from Galil [circuit, district], out of the city of Natzeret [one separated], into Y’hudah [praised], unto the city of David [Beloved], which is called Beit-Lechem [House of Bread]; (because he was of the house and lineage of David [Beloved])
To be taxed with Miryam [waters of strength] his espoused wife, being great with child.(Luke 2:4,5)
And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes (cloths for wrapping infants tightly), and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.(Luke 2:6,7)
O anúncio aos pastores e o louvor nos céus
A primeira notícia pública do nascimento do Messias não foi entregue aos governantes nem aos líderes religiosos de Jerusalém, mas a pastores que guardavam seus rebanhos no campo durante a noite. O anjo anunciou a chegada do Salvador como uma notícia de grande alegria destinada a todos os povos, acompanhada pelo louvor de um exército celestial que proclamou glória a Deus e paz na terra.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.(Luke 2:10)
For unto you is born this day in the city of David [Beloved] a Saviour, which is Moshiach [Messiah] the Lord - Kurios.(Luke 2:11)
Glory to God-Theos in the highest, and on earth peace among men of God’s good pleasure or choosing..(Luke 2:14)
And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God-Theos for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.(Luke 2:20)
