Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.(2 Corinthians 5:17)

Para Paulo, rituais externos e aparências perdem o valor diante dessa obra interior:

For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.(Galatians 6:15)

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.(Ephesians 2:10)

And He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." And He *said, "Write, for these words are faithful and true."(Revelation 21:5)

that, in reference to your former way of life, you are to rid yourselves of the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you are to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.(Ephesians 4:22-24)

Do not lie to one another, since you stripped off the old self with its evil practices, and have put on the new self, which is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created it—(Colossians 3:9,10)

Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newness of life. For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; for the one who has died is freed from sin.(Romans 6:4-7)

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.(Galatians 2:20)

And I will give them one heart, and put a new spirit within them. And I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, so that they may walk in My statutes, and keep My ordinances and do them. Then they will be My people, and I shall be their God.(Ezekiel 11:19,20)

Jesus responded and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God."(John 3:3)

Through these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world on account of lust.(2 Peter 1:4)

"Do not call to mind the former things,

Or consider things of the past.

"Behold, I am going to do something new,

Now it will spring up;

Will you not be aware of it?

I will even make a roadway in the wilderness,

Rivers in the desert.(Isaiah 43:18,19)
