1. Profecia de Isaías 7:14:

So Isaiah told him, "Then listen to this, government of David! It’s bad enough that you make people tired with your pious, timid hypocrisies, but now you’re making God tired. So the Master is going to give you a sign anyway. Watch for this: A girl who is presently a virgin will get pregnant. She’ll bear a son and name him Immanuel (God-With-Us). By the time the child is twelve years old, able to make moral decisions, the threat of war will be over. Relax, those two kings that have you so worried will be out of the picture. But also be warned: God will bring on you and your people and your government a judgment worse than anything since the time the kingdom split, when Ephraim left Judah. The king of Assyria is coming!"

Esta profecia foi cumprida com o nascimento virginal de Jesus, como descrito em Mateus 1:23.

While he was trying to figure a way out, he had a dream. God’s angel spoke in the dream: "Joseph, son of David, don’t hesitate to get married. Mary’s pregnancy is Spirit-conceived. God’s Holy Spirit has made her pregnant. She will bring a son to birth, and when she does, you, Joseph, will name him JesusGod savesbecause he will save his people from their sins." This would bring the prophet’s embryonic revelation to full term:

Watch for thisa virgin will get pregnant and bear a son;

They will name him Immanuel (Hebrew for "God is with us").

2. Profecia de Miquéias 5:2:

Jesus nasceu em Belém, cumprindo esta profecia.

But you, Bethlehem, David’s country,

the runt of the litter

From you will come the leader

who will shepherd-rule Israel.

He’ll be no upstart, no pretender.

His family tree is ancient and distinguished.

Meanwhile, Israel will be in foster homes

until the birth pangs are over and the child is born,

And the scattered brothers come back

home to the family of Israel.

He will stand tall in his shepherd-rule by Gods strength,

centered in the majesty of God-Revealed.

And the people will have a good and safe home,

for the whole world will hold him in respect

Peacemaker of the world!

3. Profecia de Jeremias 31:15:

Again, Gods Message:

"Listen to this! Laments coming out of Ramah,

wild and bitter weeping.

It’s Rachel weeping for her children,

Rachel refusing all solace.

Her children are gone,

gonelong gone into exile."

But God says, "Stop your incessant weeping,

hold back your tears.

Collect wages from your grief work." Gods Decree.

"They’ll be coming back home!

There’s hope for your children." Gods Decree.

Cumprida quando Herodes ordenou a matança dos meninos em Belém (Mateus 2:18).

Herod, when he realized that the scholars had tricked him, flew into a rage. He commanded the murder of every little boy two years old and under who lived in Bethlehem and its surrounding hills. (He determined that age from information he’d gotten from the scholars.) That’s when Jeremiah’s revelation was fulfilled:

A sound was heard in Ramah,

weeping and much lament.

Rachel weeping for her children,

Rachel refusing all solace,

Her children gone,

dead and buried.

Essas profecias nos mostram que o nascimento de Jesus não foi um acaso, mas um plano divino cumprido em detalhes. Elas nos dão confiança de que Deus tem controle absoluto sobre os eventos da história.
