Obediência aos pais
A obediência aos pais é mandamento divino com promessa de vida longa. A Bíblia valoriza a honra filial e ensina os filhos a respeitar e obedecer aos pais com amor.
Honrar pai e mãe
O quinto mandamento ordena honrar pai e mãe. É o primeiro mandamento com promessa: para que vá bem e vivas muito na terra.
Honour youi father and youi mother: that youi days may be long upon the land which the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] gives youi.
Honour youi father and youi mother, as the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] has commanded youi; that youi days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with youi, in the land which the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] gives youi.
For The Mighty One said: "Honour your father and your mother and he who curses his father and mother will surely be put to death"
Children, obey your parents in the Lord - Kurios: for this is right.
Honour youri father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)
That it may be well with youi, and youi may live long on the earth.
And, you2f fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord - Kurios.
Obedecer e respeitar
Filhos, obedecei a vossos pais no Senhor. A obediência filial é expressão de amor e temor a Deus.
Children, obey [your] parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord - Kurios.
My son, hear the instruction of youi father, and forsake not the law of youi mother:
For they [shall be] an ornament of grace unto youi head, and chains about youi neck.
My son, keep youi father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of youi mother:
Bind them continually upon youi heart, [and] tie them about youi neck.
When youi go, it shall lead youi; when youi sleep, it shall keep youi; and [when] youi awake, it shall talk with youi.
For the commandment [is] a lamp; and the law [is] light; and reproofs of instruction [are] the way of life:
Hear, you2f children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.
For I give you good doctrine, forsake you2f not my law.
For I was my father’s son, tender and only [beloved] in the sight of my mother.
He taught me also, and said unto me, Let youi heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.
Get wisdom, get understanding: forget [it] not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
Forsake her not, and she shall preserve youi: love her, and she shall keep youi.
A wise son [hears] his father’s instruction: but a scorner hears not rebuke (reprimand; strongly warn; restrain).
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Disciplina e consequências
A vara e a repreensão dão sabedoria. A Bíblia adverte sobre as consequências sérias da rebeldia e desonra aos pais.
The rod and reproof (rebuke; scolding) give wisdom: but a child left [to himself] brings his mother to shame.
He that wastes [his] father, [and] chases away [his] mother, [is] a son that causes shame, and brings reproach (disgrace; shame).
The eye [that] mocks at [his] father, and despises to obey [his] mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.
And he that smites his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death.
If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and [that], when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:
Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;
And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son [is] stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; [he is] a glutton, and a drunkard.
And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shall youi put evil away from among you; and all Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] shall hear, and fear.
Whoso corsets his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness.
If you2f endure chastening, God-The Father deals with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chastens not?
But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to show piety at home, and to offer support for their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God-The Father.
