Oração

Por Bíblia Online

A oração é o fôlego da vida cristã. É conversa íntima com Deus, pedido de socorro, ação de graças e intercessão. Jesus ensinou seus discípulos a orar e praticou a oração constantemente.

O convite a orar

Jesus disse: pedi e recebereis, buscai e achareis, batei e abrir-se-vos-á. Deus convida seus filhos a orar com fé e persistência.

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you;

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you; for everyone who is asking receives, and he who is seeking finds, and to him who is knocking it will be opened.

If, therefore, you being evil, have known to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who [is] in the heavens give good things to those asking Him?

and all—as much as you may ask in the prayer, believing, you will receive."

and all—as much as you may ask in the prayer, believing, you will receive."

and I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you; for everyone who is asking receives; and he who is seeking finds; and to him who is knocking it will be opened.

And He also spoke an allegory to them, that it is always necessary to pray and not to faint, saying, "A certain judge was in a certain city—he is not fearing God, and he is not regarding man— and a widow was in that city, and she was coming to him, saying, Do me justice on my opponent, and he would not for a time, but after these things he said in himself, Even if I do not fear God, and do not regard man, yet because this widow gives me trouble, I will do her justice, lest, continuously coming, she may bruise me." And the LORD said, "Hear what the unrighteous judge says: and will God not execute justice to His chosen ones, who are crying to Him day and night—bearing long in regard to them? I say to you that He will execute justice to them quickly; but the Son of Man having come, will He find faith on the earth?"

Because of this I say to you, all whatever—praying—you ask, believe that you receive, and it will be to you.

Because of this I say to you, all whatever—praying—you ask, believe that you receive, and it will be to you.

Because of this I say to you, all whatever—praying—you ask, believe that you receive, and it will be to you.

Orar em nome de Jesus

Tudo o que pedirmos em nome de Jesus, Ele fará, para que o Pai seja glorificado no Filho. A oração em seu nome tem autoridade.

and whatever you may ask in My Name, I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son;

and whatever you may ask in My Name, I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son; if you ask anything in My Name I will do [it].

and whatever you may ask in My Name, I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son; if you ask anything in My Name I will do [it].

if you may remain in Me, and My sayings may remain in you, whatever you may wish you will ask, and it will be done to you.

You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you might go away, and might bear fruit, and your fruit might remain, that whatever you may ask of the Father in My Name, He may give you.

until now you asked nothing in My Name; ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

Orar sem cessar

A Bíblia nos exorta a orar em todo tempo. A oração constante nos mantém conectados com Deus e nos fortalece espiritualmente.

continually pray;

continually pray;

always rejoice; continually pray; give thanks in everything, for this [is] the will of God in Christ Jesus in regard to you.

through all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the Spirit, and in this, watching in all perseverance and supplication for all the holy ones—

through all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the Spirit, and in this, watching in all perseverance and supplication for all the holy ones—

Continue in the prayer, watching in it in thanksgiving,

in the hope rejoicing; in the tribulation enduring; in the prayer persevering;

A oração do modelo

Jesus ensinou a oração do Pai Nosso como modelo. Ela cobre adoração, submissão, provisão, perdão, proteção e louvor.

therefore pray thus: Our Father who [is] in the heavens, hallowed be Your Name. Your kingdom come, Your will come to pass, as in Heaven also on the earth. Give us today our appointed bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. And may You not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil [one], because Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory—for all ages. Amen.

And He said to them, "When you may pray, say: Our Father who is in the heavens, hallowed be Your Name; Your kingdom come, Your will come to pass, as in Heaven also on earth; be giving us daily our appointed bread; and forgive us our sins, for we also ourselves forgive everyone indebted to us; and may You not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil [one]."

And when you may pray, you will not be as the hypocrites, because they cherish to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the broad places, that they may be seen of men; truly I say to you that they have their reward.

But you, when you may pray, go into your chamber, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who [is] in secret, and your Father who is seeing in secret will reward you.

But you, when you may pray, go into your chamber, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who [is] in secret, and your Father who is seeing in secret will reward you. And—praying—you may not use vain repetitions like the nations, for they think that in their speaking much they will be heard,

And—praying—you may not use vain repetitions like the nations, for they think that in their speaking much they will be heard,

And—praying—you may not use vain repetitions like the nations, for they think that in their speaking much they will be heard, therefore do not be like them, for your Father knows those things that you have need of before your asking Him;

Oração eficaz

A oração do justo é poderosa e eficaz. Ore com fé, sem duvidar, pois quem duvida é como onda do mar levada pelo vento.

Be confessing to one another the trespasses, and be praying for one another, that you may be healed; very strong is a working supplication of a righteous man;

Be confessing to one another the trespasses, and be praying for one another, that you may be healed; very strong is a working supplication of a righteous man;

And if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask from God, who is giving to all generously, and not reproaching, and it will be given to him; but let him ask in faith, doubting nothing, for he who is doubting has been like a wave of the sea, driven by wind and tossed; for do not let that man suppose that he will receive anything from the LORD— a soul-split man [is] unstable in all his ways.

but let him ask in faith, doubting nothing, for he who is doubting has been like a wave of the sea, driven by wind and tossed;

but let him ask in faith, doubting nothing, for he who is doubting has been like a wave of the sea, driven by wind and tossed; for do not let that man suppose that he will receive anything from the LORD—

You desire, and do not have, [so] you murder; and you are zealous, and are not able to attain, [so] you fight and war; and you do not have, because of your not asking;

draw near to God, and He will draw near to you; cleanse hands, you sinners! And purify hearts, you split-souled!

Deus ouve e responde

Clama a mim e te responderei. O Senhor ouve os que clamam a Ele com sinceridade e responde com poder e fidelidade.

Call to Me, and I answer you, indeed, I declare to you great and inaccessible things—you have not known them.

Call to Me, and I answer you, indeed, I declare to you great and inaccessible things—you have not known them.

And you have called Me, and have gone, and have prayed to Me, and I have listened to you,

and you have sought Me, and have found, for you seek Me with all your heart;

Hearer of prayer, all flesh comes to You.

For He has not despised, nor detested, || The affliction of the afflicted, || Nor has He hidden His face from Him, || And in His crying to Him He hears.

And call Me in a day of adversity, || I deliver you, and you honor Me.

I have called to Him [with] my mouth, || And exaltation [is] under my tongue.

Iniquity, if I have seen in my heart, || The Lord does not hear.

Iniquity, if I have seen in my heart, || The Lord does not hear. But God has heard, || He has attended to the voice of my prayer.

I have loved, because YHWH hears My voice, my supplication, Because He has inclined His ear to me, || And during my days I call.

In my adversity I call YHWH, || And I cry to my God. He hears my voice from His temple, || And My cry comes into His ears before Him.

He turned to the prayer of the destitute, || And He has not despised their prayer.

And He looks on their distress || When He hears their cry, And remembers His covenant for them, || And is comforted, || According to the abundance of His kindness.

YHWH [is] near to all those calling Him, || To all who call Him in truth.

Confiança nas promessas

Se pedimos algo segundo a sua vontade, Ele nos ouve. A confiança na oração vem de conhecer e confiar em Deus e suas promessas.

And this is the boldness that we have toward Him, that if we may ask anything according to His will, He hears us,

And this is the boldness that we have toward Him, that if we may ask anything according to His will, He hears us, and if we have known that He hears us, whatever we may ask, we have known that we have the requests that we have requested from Him.

and if we have known that He hears us, whatever we may ask, we have known that we have the requests that we have requested from Him.

and whatever we may ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commands, and we do the things pleasing before Him,

we may come near, then, with freedom, to the throne of grace, that we may receive kindness, and find grace—for seasonable help.

we may come near, then, with freedom, to the throne of grace, that we may receive kindness, and find grace—for seasonable help.

we may come near, then, with freedom, to the throne of grace, that we may receive kindness, and find grace—for seasonable help.

and apart from faith it is impossible to please [Him], for it is required of him who is coming to God to believe that He exists and [that] He becomes a rewarder to those seeking Him.

from where also He is able to save to the very end, those coming through Him to God—ever living to make intercession for them.

Diversas formas de oração

A oração inclui adoração, intercessão, súplica e ação de graças. Levante mãos santas, ore pelos outros e clame em todo tempo.

be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer, and by supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, that is surpassing all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer, and by supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

and my God will supply all your need, according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus;

I intend, therefore, that men pray in every place, lifting up holy hands, apart from anger and deliberation;

I intend, therefore, that men pray in every place, lifting up holy hands, apart from anger and deliberation;

I called on the LORD three times concerning this thing, that it might depart from me, and He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness"; most gladly, therefore, will I rather boast in my weaknesses, that the power of the Christ may rest on me:

And in like manner also, the Spirit helps our weaknesses; for what we may pray for, as it is necessary, we have not known, but [this] One—the Spirit—makes intercession for us with unutterable groanings, and He who is searching the hearts has known what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because according to God He intercedes for holy ones.

and at the promise of God did not stagger in unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, having given glory to God, and having been fully persuaded that what He has promised He is also able to do:

Oração e perseverança

Persevere na oração. Mesmo quando parece que não há resposta, Deus está agindo. O que impossível aos homens é possível a Deus.

and to Him who is able to do exceedingly [and] abundantly above all things that we ask or think, according to the power that is working in us,

and to Him who is able to do exceedingly [and] abundantly above all things that we ask or think, according to the power that is working in us,

Truly I say to you, whatever things you may bind on the earth will be having been bound in the heavens, and whatever things you may loose on the earth will be having been loosed in the heavens.

for where there are two or three gathered together—to My Name, there am I in the midst of them."

[[and this kind does not go forth except in prayer and fasting."]]

And having gone forward a little, He fell on His face, praying, and saying, "My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You."

But I say to you who are hearing, love your enemies, do good to those hating you, bless those cursing you, pray for those maligning you;

And the LORD said, "Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked for himself to sift you as the wheat, and I implored for you that your faith may not fail; and you, when you turned, strengthen your brothers."

these were all continuing with one accord in prayer and supplication, with women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

And at midnight Paul and Silas praying, were singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were hearing them,

When the breakers of death surrounded me, || The streams of the worthless terrify me, The cords of Sheol have surrounded me, || The snares of death have been before me. In my adversity I call on YHWH, || And I call to my God, || And He hears my voice from His temple, || And my cry [is] in His ears,

Arise, cry aloud in the night, || At the beginning of the watches. Pour out your heart as water, || Before the face of the Lord, || Lift up to Him your hands, for the soul of your infants, || Who are feeble with hunger at the head of all out-places.

We search our ways, and investigate, || And turn back to YHWH. We lift up our heart on the hands to God in the heavens.

"And also now," a declaration of YHWH, || "Turn back to Me with all your heart, || And with fasting, and with weeping, || And with lamentation."

Seek YHWH while He may be found, || Call Him while He is near,

And there is none calling on Your Name, || Stirring himself up to lay hold on You, || For You have hid Your face from us, || And You melt us away by our iniquities.

And it has come to pass, || They do not yet call, and I answer, || They are yet speaking, and I hear.

And it has come to pass, || They do not yet call, and I answer, || They are yet speaking, and I hear.

For the people in Zion dwell in Jerusalem, || Do not weep—weeping, || Pitying, He pities you at the voice of your cry, || When He hears He answers you.

Thus said YHWH, The Holy One of Israel, and his Former: "Ask Me of the things coming concerning My sons, || Indeed, concerning the work of My hands, you command Me.

Postura na oração

Ore no secreto, e o Pai que vê em secreto recompensará. A oração não precisa de muitas palavras, mas de coração sincero.

Be silent for YHWH, and stay yourself for Him, || Do not fret because of him || Who is making his way prosperous, || Because of a man doing wicked schemes.

Evening, and morning, and noon, || I meditate, and make a noise, and He hears my voice,

Trust in Him at all times, O people, || Pour forth your heart before Him, || God [is] a refuge for us. Selah.

A PSALM OF DAVID, IN HIS BEING IN THE WILDERNESS OF JUDAH. O God, You [are] my God, earnestly I seek You, || My soul has thirsted for You, || My flesh has longed for You, || In a dry and weary land, without waters.

O the blessedness of those keeping His testimonies, || They seek Him with the whole heart.

I have sought You with all my heart, || Do not let me err from Your commands.

And know that YHWH || Has separated a saintly one to Himself. YHWH hears in my calling to Him.

YHWH, [in] the morning You hear my voice, || [In] the morning I set in array for You, || And I look out [expectantly].

Whoever is turning his ear from hearing the Law, || Even his prayer [is] an abomination.

Now the end of all things has come near; be sober-minded, then, and be sober in [your] prayers.
