Oração: o que é, como fazer e o que Jesus ensinou

A oração é a conversa direta e sincera entre a pessoa e Deus. Na Bíblia, ela não é uma fórmula mística para dobrar a vontade divina, mas o meio pelo qual expressamos confiança, dependência, gratidão e pedidos ao Pai celestial.

Como Jesus ensinou a orar

Jesus alertou contra dois desvios comuns: a hipocrisia de orar em público para impressionar os outros e o uso de repetições mecânicas, achando que Deus responde pela quantidade de palavras. O Pai já sabe do que você precisa antes mesmo de pedir. No modelo da oração do Pai Nosso, Jesus estabeleceu as prioridades da fé: honrar o nome de Deus, submeter-se ao seu Reino, pedir o sustento diário, confessar pecados e buscar proteção contra o mal.

At that time Yeshua [God is Salvation] said to his disciples: "When you pray do not raise your voice and do not be like the sad hypocrites who love to pray in the synagogues and in the corner of the courtyards and pray with arrogant (proud; lifted up) speech that men might hear and praise them. Truly I say to you, they have received their reward already".(Gosel 6:5)

"But when you pray, go to your bedroom, close your doors upon you, and pray to your Father in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you".(Gosel 6:6)

"So when you pray, do not multiply words as the heretics who think that by their multitude of words they will make themselves heard"

"Do not be like them. Your Father Who is in heaven knows your words before you ask from Him?"(Gosel 6:7,8)

"But thus you shall pray: Our Father, Who art (you - one person - are) in heaven, may Your Name be acknowledged as Holy;"

"may Your Kingdom be Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous); may Your will be done in heaven and on earth".

"Give us our bread continually".

"Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us,

"and do not allow us into the power of temptation but keep us from all evil. Amen".(Gosel 6:9-13)

And he said unto them, When you2f pray, say, Our Father which are in heaven, Hallowed be youri name. Your1s kingdom come. Your1s will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

Give us day by day our daily bread.

And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.(Luke 11:2-4)

O convite a pedir com insistência e fé

Deus convida seus filhos a trazerem pedidos com liberdade e insistência. Os verbos que Jesus usa — pedir, buscar e bater — indicam persistência contínua, não uma tentativa única. Ele compara o cuidado de Deus com o de pais humanos: se pais imperfeitos dão coisas boas aos seus filhos, com muito mais generosidade o Pai acolhe quem recorre a Ele.

"Ask from The Mighty One and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you".

"Everyone who asks will receive, by the one who seeks it will be found, and to the one who calls it will be opened"(Gosel 7:7,8)

"But if you being evil come to place give good gifts to one another, so much the more your Father Who is in heaven will give His Good Ruach [Spirit [Ruach]] to those who seek Him".(Gosel 7:11)

And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you2f shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.(Luke 11:9,10)

And he spoke a parable unto them [to this end], that men ought always to pray, and not to give up;

Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God-Theos, neither regarded man:

And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of my adversary.

And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God-Theos, nor regard man;

Yet because this widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

And the Lord - Kurios said, Hear what the unjust judge says.

And shall not God-Theos avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of Man comes, shall he find faith on the earth?(Luke 18:1-8)

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever you2f desire, when you2f pray, believe that you2f receive [them], and you2f shall have [them].(Mark 11:24)

"Everything which you shall ask in prayer while believing, you will receive".(Gosel 21:22)

O que significa orar em nome de Jesus

Orar em nome de Jesus não funciona como fórmula mágica ao final de uma frase. No contexto bíblico, o nome representa a autoridade, o caráter e a vontade da pessoa. Pedir em nome de Cristo significa aproximar-se do Pai fundamentado nos méritos de Jesus, alinhando desejos e propósitos àquilo que Ele mesmo ensinou e viveu.

And whatsoever you2f shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

If you2f shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it].(John 14:13,14)

If you2f abide in me, and my words abide in you, you2f shall ask what you2f will, and it shall be done unto you.(John 15:7)

You2f have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you2f should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you2f shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.(John 15:16)

Till this point in time have you2f asked nothing in my name: ask, and you2f shall receive, that your joy may be full.(John 16:24)

A certeza de que Deus ouve o clamor

A Escritura não esconde momentos de angústia e cansaço. De Davi perseguido no deserto aos profetas no cativeiro, a Bíblia registra clamores sinceros de quem não via saída humana. A resposta nem sempre vem no tempo ou na forma desejada, mas a promessa das Escrituras é que o Senhor não despreza a oração humilde dos que o buscam.

Call unto me, and I will answer youi, and show youi great and mighty things, which youi know not.(Jeremiah 33:3)

Then shall you2f call upon me, and you2f shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.(Jeremiah 29:12)

And you2f shall seek me, and find [me], when you2f shall search for me with all your heart.(Jeremiah 29:13)

In my distress I called upon the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], and cried unto my God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, [even] into his ears.(Tehillim - Psalms 18:6)

For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither has he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.(Tehillim - Psalms 22:24)

If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord-Adonai (The Father) [Greatest Above All Things] will not hear [me]:

[But] truly God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] has heard [me]; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.(Tehillim - Psalms 66:18,19)

I love the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], because he has heard my voice [and] my supplications.

Because he has inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon [him] as long as I live.(Tehillim - Psalms 116:1,2)

The LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [is] near unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.(Tehillim - Psalms 145:18)

For the people shall dwell in Tziyon [parched place] at Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace]: youi shall weep no more: he will be very gracious unto youi at the voice of youi cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer youi.(Isaiah 30:19)

Seek you2f the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) while he may be found, call you2f upon him while he is near:(Isaiah 55:6)

And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.(Isaiah 65:24)

A atitude do coração diante de Deus

A oração bíblica exige sinceridade interior. O apóstolo Tiago adverte que pedir motivado por egoísmo ou orar com o coração dividido impede a comunhão com Deus. O Senhor acolhe quem se achega com quebrantamento, disposição para perdoar e desejo sincero de obedecer à sua palavra.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God-The Father, that gives to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord - Kurios.

A double minded man [is] unstable in all his ways.(Jacob 1:5-8)

You2f lust, and have not: you2f kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: you2f fight and war, yet you2f have not, because you2f ask not.(Jacob 4:2)

Draw near to God-The Father, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse [your] hands, [you2f] sinners; and purify [your] hearts, [you2f] double minded.(Jacob 4:8)

Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you2f may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.(Jacob 5:16)

But know that the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] has set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] will hear when I call unto him.(Tehillim - Psalms 4:3)

Rest in the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], and wait patiently for him: be troubled (be grieved; be displeased) not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.(Tehillim - Psalms 37:7)

Trust in him at all times; [you2f] people, pour out your heart before him: God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] [is] a refuge for us. Selah [stop and diligently consider what was just said].(Tehillim - Psalms 62:8)

Confiança e submissão à vontade divina

A confiança na oração não significa receber garantias de que todo pedido pessoal será concedido. O próprio Jesus, diante da cruz no Getsêmani, pediu para afastar o sofrimento, mas concluiu submetendo-se à vontade do Pai. Paulo pediu três vezes para ser livre de uma aflição física e recebeu como resposta que a graça divina era suficiente. A fé madura descansa no fato de que Deus sabe o que é melhor, mesmo quando a resposta é diferente da nossa expectativa.

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us:

And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.(1 John 5:14,15)

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.(1 John 3:22)

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.(Hebrews 4:16)

But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that comes to God-The Father must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.(Hebrews 11:6)

For what reason he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God-The Father by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them.(Hebrews 7:25)

He slowly went forward a little, fell on his face, prayed and said: "My Father, if it is possible, take this cup from me. Indeed let it not be as I will, but according to Your will".(Gosel 26:39)

For this thing I besought the Lord - Kurios thrice, that it might depart from me.

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for youi: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Moshiach [Messiah] may rest upon me.(2 Corinthians 12:8,9)

O que fazer quando faltam palavras

Em períodos de perda, exaustão ou ansiedade extrema, formular pensamentos pode parecer impossível. O apóstolo Paulo ensina que o Espírito Santo intercede por nós em nossa fraqueza com gemidos que as palavras humanas não conseguem traduzir. Entregar a Deus o que aflige o coração, sem máscaras, substitui a inquietação pela paz de Cristo.

Likewise the Spirit [Ruach] also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit [Ruach] itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

And he that searches the hearts knows what [is] the mind of the Spirit [Ruach], because he makes intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God-The Father.(Romans 8:26,27)

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God-The Father.

And the peace of God-The Father, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation].(Philippians 4:6,7)

But my God-The Father shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation].(Philippians 4:19)

O God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], youi [are] my God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]; early will I seek youi: my soul thirsts for youi, my flesh longs for youi in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;(Tehillim - Psalms 63:1)

Orar sem cessar no dia a dia

O mandamento de "orar sem cessar" não exige isolamento do mundo nem repetições intermináveis. Trata-se de cultivar uma atitude contínua de dependência, integrando Deus nas decisões do trabalho, na vida em família e nas tensões cotidianas. Essa oração também se expressa em comunidade, sustentando uns aos outros em intercessão, gratidão e louvor.

Rejoice evermore.

Pray without ceasing.

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God-The Father in Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation] concerning you.(1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit [Ruach], and watching thereunthat is to sayh all perseverance and supplication for all saints;(Ephesians 6:18)

Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;(Romans 12:12)

I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.(1 Timothy 2:8)

"Truly I say to you that every oath which you shall bind on earth will be bound in heaven and every oath which you shall loose on earth will be loosed in heaven".(Gosel 18:18)

"In every place where two or three are gathered together in my name there am I in their midst".(Gosel 18:20)

But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.(Luke 6:27,28)

These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Miryam [waters of strength] the mother of Yeshua [God is Salvation], and with his brethren.(Acts 1:14)

And at midnight Sha’ul [desired] and Silas [woody] prayed, and sang praises unto God-The Father: and the prisoners heard them.(Acts 16:25)

But the end of all things is at hand: be you2f therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.(1 Peter 4:7)

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,(Ephesians 3:20)
