Ouvir a voz de Deus é o privilégio supremo do cristão. Ele fala por sua Palavra, pelo Espírito e em circunstâncias — e as ovelhas reconhecem a voz do bom Pastor.
As ovelhas ouvem a voz do Pastor
Jesus disse: minhas ovelhas ouvem minha voz, eu as conheço e elas me seguem. A relação com Deus é íntima e pessoal.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that has heard, and has learned of the Father, comes to me.
47 He that is of God hears God' words: you therefore hear them not, because you are not of God.
24 Truly, truly, I say to you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death to life.25 Truly, truly, I say to you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

Toda Escritura é inspirada por Deus. A Bíblia é a voz confiável de Deus registrada para nos guiar em toda verdade.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished to all good works.
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
24 Therefore whoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, which built his house on a rock:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house; and it fell not: for it was founded on a rock.
28 But he said, Yes rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
