27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

45 It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught of God.' Therefore everyone who hears from the Father, and has learned, comes to Me.

47 He who is of God hears God's words; therefore you do not hear [them], because you are not of God."

24 "Most assuredly I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.25 Most assuredly I say to you, that an hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those having heard shall live.

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,17 that the man of God may be proficient, having been thoroughly equipped for every good work.

20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture comes about [from] one's own interpretation,21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke, being brought along by [the] Holy Spirit.

17 So then faith [comes] by hearing, and hearing by [the] word of God.

24 "Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine and does them, I will compare him to a wise man who built his house upon the rock:25 and the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew and fell against that house; and it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the rock.

28 But He said, "More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!"
