27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard and learned of the Father, cometh to me.

47 He that is of God, heareth God's words; ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

24 Verily, verily I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and cometh not into condemnation, but is passed from death to life.25 Verily, verily I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that hear shall live.

1 In the beginning existed the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

14 And the Word was made flesh, and tabernacled among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth.

16 All scripture is inspired of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness;17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

20 Knowing this before that no scripture prophecy is of any private interpretation.21 For prophecy never came by the will of man, but the holy men of God spake being moved by the Holy Ghost.

17 Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these my sayings, and doth them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house on a rock: And the rain descended,25 and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house; and it fell not; for it was founded on a rock.

28 But he said, Yea, rather blessed are they, that hear the word of God and keep it.
