Ouvir
Ouvir é uma disciplina espiritual essencial. A Bíblia exorta: 'Quem tem ouvidos, ouça.' A fé vem pelo ouvir, e ouvir é mais que escutar — é obedecer e agir.
A fé vem pelo ouvir
Sem ouvir a Palavra, não há fé. A pregação do evangelho gera fé nos corações de quem ouve com disposição e humildade.

and fulfilled on them is the prophecy of Isaiah that says, With hearing you will hear, and you will not understand, and seeing you will see, and you will not perceive, for the heart of this people was made obtuse, and with the ears they barely heard, and they closed their eyes, lest they might see with the eyes, and might hear with the ears, and understand with the heart, and turn back, and I might heal them.
Ouvir e obedecer
Não basta ouvir — é preciso praticar. Quem ouve a Palavra e a pratica é como o homem sábio que edificou sobre a rocha.

the things that you also learned, and receive, and hear, and saw in me, do those, and the God of peace will be with you.
Deus ouve nossas orações
O Senhor ouve os que clamam a Ele de coração sincero. Ele inclina os ouvidos para as nossas súplicas e responde com fidelidade.
I have loved, because YHWH hears My voice, my supplication, Because He has inclined His ear to me, || And during my days I call.

The eyes of YHWH [are] to the righteous, || And His ears to their cry.
YHWH, [in] the morning You hear my voice, || [In] the morning I set in array for You, || And I look out [expectantly].
You cause me to hear joy and gladness, || You make bones You have bruised joyful.
Cause me to hear Your kindness in the morning, || For I have trusted in You, || Cause me to know the way that I go, || For I have lifted up my soul to You.
And this is the boldness that we have toward Him, that if we may ask anything according to His will, He hears us,
and if we have known that He hears us, whatever we may ask, we have known that we have the requests that we have requested from Him.
And you have called Me, and have gone, and have prayed to Me, and I have listened to you,
Call to Me, and I answer you, indeed, I declare to you great and inaccessible things—you have not known them.
Behold, the hand of YHWH || Has not been shortened from saving, || Nor His ear heavy from hearing.

Jesus disse: 'As minhas ovelhas ouvem a minha voz.' Deus fala através da Palavra, do Espírito e das circunstâncias — cabe a nós ouvir.
according as I said to you: My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me,

Sabedoria no ouvir
Seja pronto para ouvir e tardio para falar. A sabedoria começa com a disposição de ouvir instrução e aceitar correção.
Whoever is answering a matter before he hears, || It is folly to him—and shame.
The wise in any matter finds good, || And whoever is trusting in YHWH, O his blessedness.
Keep, my son, the command of your father, || And do not leave the law of your mother.
A traveler to life [is] he who is keeping instruction, || And whoever is forsaking rebuke is erring.
Whoever is turning his ear from hearing the Law, || Even his prayer [is] an abomination.
Better to hear a rebuke of a wise man, || Than [for] a man to hear a song of fools,
All these things are wearying; a man is not able to speak, the eye is not satisfied by seeing, nor is the ear filled from hearing.
And if you walk with Me [in] opposition, and are not willing to listen to Me, then I have added to you a plague sevenfold, according to your sins,
If you do not listen, and if you do not lay [it] to heart, || To give glory to My Name," said YHWH of Hosts, || "I have sent the curse against you, || And I have cursed your blessings, || Indeed, I have also cursed it, || Because you are not laying [it] to heart.
And in My speaking with you, I open your mouth, and you have said to them: Thus said Lord YHWH; the hearer hears, and the refrainer refrains; for they [are] a house of rebellion."
Behold, days are coming," || A declaration of Lord YHWH, || "And I have sent a famine into the land, || Not a famine of bread, nor a thirst of water, || But of hearing the words of YHWH.
And at midnight Paul and Silas praying, were singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were hearing them,
And Joshua says to the sons of Israel, "Come near here, and hear the words of your God YHWH";
because whatever you said in the darkness will be heard in the light, and what you spoke to the ear in the inner-chambers will be proclaimed on the housetops.
