Ouvir: o que a Bíblia ensina sobre a escuta

O que significa ouvir na Bíblia

Na Bíblia, ouvir significa muito mais do que registrar sons: ouvir a Deus é prestar atenção, crer e colocar a mensagem em prática. Tanto no hebraico (shama) quanto no grego (akouo), o ato de ouvir está inseparavelmente ligado à obediência.

A fé cristã nasce dessa escuta atenta. Paulo explica que a confiança em Deus não surge do nada, mas de ouvir a mensagem de Cristo proclamada:

17 So then faith [comes] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God-The Father.(Romans 10:17)

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?(Romans 10:14)

9 "Whoever has ears to hear let him hear"(Gosel 13:9)

Ouvir e colocar em prática

Ouvir a instrução divina sem agir é considerado autoengano nas Escrituras. Jesus e Tiago insistem que a maturidade espiritual não se mede pela quantidade de ensino acumulado, mas pela disposição prática de edificar a vida sobre o que foi ouvido:

22 But be you2f doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.(Jacob 1:22)

24 Again he said to them: "Everyone who hears these my words and does them is like a wise man who built his house on a rock".

25 "The rain came down against it and the winds beat it and it did not fall because its foundation was a rock"

26 "Everyone who hears these my words and does not do them is like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand."

27 "The rains came down, the floods came and fell against it and it fell with a great fall".(Gosel 7:24-27)

28 But he said, Yes rather, Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) [are] they that hear the word of God-Theos, and keep it.(Luke 11:28)

9 Those things, which you2f have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God-The Father of peace shall be with you.(Philippians 4:9)

4 Yeshua [God is Salvation] answered and said to him: It is written: "Man does not live by bread alone but man lives by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of Yehovah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate]"(Gosel 4:4)

Como reconhecer a voz de Deus

Jesus usa a relação entre o pastor e o rebanho para ilustrar como os discípulos aprendem a discernir a sua voz. Esse reconhecimento depende de convivência constante, apego à palavra revelada e atenção à ação de Deus:

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:(John 10:27)

24 Truly, truly, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

25 Truly, truly, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God-The Father: and they that hear shall live.(John 5:24,25)

20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will eat with him, and he with me.(Revelation 3:20)

4 You2f shall walk after the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) your God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and you2f shall serve him, and cling to (hold onto; stick to) him.(Deuteronomy 13:4)

5 He therefore that ministers to you the Spirit [Ruach], and works miracles among you, [does he it] by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?(Galatians 3:5)

A certeza de que Deus ouve a oração

A escuta bíblica é uma via de mão dupla. Deus não é indiferente às aflições humanas: Ele inclina os ouvidos para atender o clamor sincero dos que o buscam com humildade e confiança:

1 I love the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], because he has heard my voice [and] my supplications.

2 Because he has inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon [him] as long as I live.(Tehillim - Psalms 116:1,2)

15 The eyes of the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [are] upon the righteous, and his ears [are open] unto their cry.(Tehillim - Psalms 34:15)

6 In my distress I called upon the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], and cried unto my God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, [even] into his ears.(Tehillim - Psalms 18:6)

14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us:(1 John 5:14)

15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.(1 John 5:15)

12 Then shall you2f call upon me, and you2f shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.(Jeremiah 29:12)

3 Call unto me, and I will answer youi, and show youi great and mighty things, which youi know not.(Jeremiah 33:3)

1 Behold, the LORD-Yehōvah’s [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:(Isaiah 59:1)

3 My voice shall youi hear in the morning, O LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate]; in the morning will I direct [my prayer] unto youi, and will look up.(Tehillim - Psalms 5:3)

8 Cause me to hear youri lovingkindness in the morning; for in youi do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto youi.(Tehillim - Psalms 143:8)

Sabedoria para ouvir os outros

A Bíblia também orienta a escuta nas relações humanas diárias. Precipitar-se para falar antes de ouvir é sinal de insensatez, enquanto a paciência para acolher conselhos, correções e dialogar em momentos de conflito preserva a paz e edifica o próximo:

19 For what reason, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:(Jacob 1:19)

13 He that answers a matter before he hears [it], it [is] folly and shame unto him.(Mishlei - Proverbs 18:13)

20 He that handles a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusts in the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], happy [is] he.(Mishlei - Proverbs 16:20)

17 He [is in] the way of life that keeps instruction: but he that refuses reproof (rebuke; scolding) errs.(Mishlei - Proverbs 10:17)

9 He that turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer [shall be] abomination.(Mishlei - Proverbs 28:9)

5 [It is] better to hear the rebuke (reprimand; strongly warn; restrain) of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.(Ecclesiastes 7:5)

15 At that time Yeshua [God is Salvation] said to Shim’on [he has heard]; called Kefa [pebble] "If your brother sins against you, reprove him privately. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother".

16 "If he does not listen to you, reprove him before another; if by every oath he does not listen to you, add still one or two in order that your words might be before two or three witnesses, because by two or three witnesses a word will be established".

17 "If by every oath he does not listen, tell it in the assembly; and if he does not listen to the assembly consider him as ostracized, an enemy and cruel".(Gosel 18:15-17)
