Pai da mentira
A Bíblia revela que o diabo é o pai da mentira. Ele engana, acusa e tenta destruir. Mas Cristo veio para desfazer as obras do maligno e nos dar vitória.
O caráter do diabo
Jesus disse que o diabo é mentiroso e homicida desde o princípio. Não há verdade nele — a mentira é sua natureza.
Your father is the devil, and you do exactly what he wants. He has always been a murderer and a liar. There is nothing truthful about him. He speaks on his own, and everything he says is a lie. Not only is he a liar himself, but he is also the father of all lies.

"Our God has shown
his saving power,
and his kingdom has come!
God’s own Chosen One
has shown his authority.
Satan accused our people
in the presence of God
day and night.
Now he has been thrown out!
And it is no wonder. Even Satan tries to make himself look like an angel of light.
The god who rules this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers. They cannot see the light, which is the good news about our glorious Christ, who shows what God is like.
As obras do inimigo
O diabo rouba a Palavra semeada, cega o entendimento dos incrédulos e anda em derredor como leão rugidor buscando a quem devorar.
The seeds that fell along the road are the people who hear the message about the kingdom, but don’t understand it. Then the evil one comes and snatches the message from their hearts.
The field is the world, and the good seeds are the people who belong to the kingdom. The weeds are those who belong to the evil one, and the one who scattered them is the devil. The harvest is the end of time, and angels are the ones who bring in the harvest.
Be on your guard and stay awake. Your enemy, the devil, is like a roaring lion, sneaking around to find someone to attack.
When the wicked one appears, Satan will pretend to work all kinds of miracles, wonders, and signs.
I cannot speak with you much longer, because the ruler of this world is coming. But he has no power over me.
Vitória em Cristo
Cristo apareceu para destruir as obras do diabo. Quem está em Deus é protegido, e o maligno não o toca.
Anyone who keeps on sinning belongs to the devil. He has sinned from the beginning, but the Son of God came to destroy all that he has done.
We are sure God’s children do not keep on sinning. God’s own Son protects them, and the devil cannot harm them.
We are certain we come from God and the rest of the world is under the power of the devil.
I want you to open their eyes, so they will turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Then their sins will be forgiven, and by faith in me they will become part of God’s holy people."
Then the devil who fooled them will be thrown into the lake of fire and burning sulfur. He will be there with the beast and the false prophet, and they will be in pain day and night forever and ever.
Surrender to God! Resist the devil, and he will run from you.
"I am the way, the truth, and the life!" Jesus answered. "Without me, no one can go to the Father.
