44 You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you desire to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he speaks from his own [resources], for he is a liar, and the father of lies.

2 And after supper, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray Him,

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, "Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ, because the accuser of our brothers, the [one] who accused them before our God day and night, has been thrown [out of heaven].

14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.

4 among whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that the illumination of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine on them.

19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand, then the evil [one] comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the [seed] being sown beside the road.

38 And the field is the world, and the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the evil [one].39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels.

8 Be sober, be watchful; your adversary the devil walks about as a roaring lion, seeking someone he may devour.

9 whose coming is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,

30 I will no longer speak many things with you, for the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.

8 He who practices sin is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. For this [reason] the Son of God appeared, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

18 We know that everyone begotten of God does not sin; but he that was begotten of God keeps himself, and the evil [one] does not touch him.19 We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies [under the sway] of the evil [one].

18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God, [in order for ]them to receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.'

10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone where also the Beast and the False Prophet [are]. And they shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.

7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
