44 You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and its father.

2 During supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him,

9 The great serpent was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.10 I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now is come the salvation, the power, and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ; for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.

14 And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light.

4 in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, to prevent the light shining from the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

19 When anyone hears the word of the Kingdom, and does not understand it, the evil one comes, and snatches away that which has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown by the roadside.

38 and the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the sons of the Kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one,39 and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels.

8 Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

9 even he whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

30 I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world comes, and he has nothing in me.

8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

18 to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'

10 The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

7 Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
