Pais

Por Bíblia Online

Deus é nosso Pai celestial — amoroso, provedor, disciplinador e fiel.

Children of God Love One Another

See what an incredible quality of love the Father has shown to us, that we would [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

Children of God Love One Another

See what an incredible quality of love the Father has shown to us, that we would [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading again to fear [of God’s judgment], but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons [the Spirit producing sonship] by which we [joyfully] cry, "Abba! Father!" The Spirit Himself testifies and confirms together with our spirit [assuring us] that we [believers] are children of God.

But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right [the authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name[Is 56:5]

Grace to you and peace [inner calm and spiritual well-being] from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,

Just as a father loves his children,

So the Lord loves those who fear and worship Him [with awe-filled respect and deepest reverence].

Just as a father loves his children,

So the Lord loves those who fear and worship Him [with awe-filled respect and deepest reverence].

For He knows our [mortal] frame;

He remembers that we are [merely] dust.

A father of the fatherless and a judge and protector of the widows,

Is God in His holy habitation.

Yet, O Lord, You are our Father;

We are the clay, and You our Potter,

And we all are the work of Your hand.

For [most certainly] You are our Father, even though Abraham [our ancestor] does not know us

And Israel does not acknowledge us.

You, O Lord, are [still] our Father,

Our Redeemer from everlasting is Your name.

For to us a Child shall be born, to us a Son shall be given;

And the government shall be upon His shoulder,

And His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. [Is 25:1; 40:9-11; Matt 28:18; Luke 2:11]

For to us a Child shall be born, to us a Son shall be given;

And the government shall be upon His shoulder,

And His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. [Is 25:1; 40:9-11; Matt 28:18; Luke 2:11]

O cuidado paterno de Deus

O Pai celestial sabe do que precisamos antes de pedirmos. Ele dá boas dádivas aos filhos que pedem e cuida até dos passarinhos.

Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow [seed] nor reap [the harvest] nor gather [the crops] into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they?

Are not two little sparrows sold for a copper coin? And yet not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered [for the Father is sovereign and has complete knowledge]. So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.

But when you pray, go into your most private room, close the door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees [what is done] in secret will reward you.

But when you fast, put oil on your head [as you normally would to groom your hair] and wash your faceso that your fasting will not be noticed by people, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees [what is done] in secret will reward you.

What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead of a fish?Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?If you, then, being evil [that is, sinful by nature], know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to ask Him!"

Do not be afraid and anxious, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of lights [the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens], in whom there is no variation [no rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [for He is perfect and never changes].

He who did not spare [even] His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?

Conhecer o Pai

Jesus é o caminho para o Pai. Ninguém conhece o Pai senão o Filho e aquele a quem o Filho quiser revelar.

Jesus said to him, "I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you.

And I will do whatever you ask in My name [as My representative], this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified and celebrated in the Son. [Ex 3:14]

The person who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him [I will make Myself real to him]."

Jesus answered, "If anyone [really] loves Me, he will keep My word (teaching); and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling place with him.

No one has seen God [His essence, His divine nature] at any time; the [One and] only begotten God [that is, the unique Son] who is in the intimate presence of the Father, He has explained Him [and interpreted and revealed the awesome wonder of the Father]. [Prov 8:30]

And I give them eternal life, and they will never, ever [by any means] perish; and no one will ever snatch them out of My hand.My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater and mightier than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.I and the Father are One [in essence and nature]."

Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given to Me [as Your gift to Me], may be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Son except the Father; and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son [deliberately] wills to reveal Him.

You, therefore, will be perfect [growing into spiritual maturity both in mind and character, actively integrating godly values into your daily life], as your heavenly Father is perfect. [Lev 19:2]

But do not be called Rabbi (Teacher); for One is your Teacher, and you are all [equally] brothers.Do not call anyone on earth [who guides you spiritually] your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.

Do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will immediately provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?

Be merciful (responsive, compassionate, tender) just as your [heavenly] Father is merciful.

To our God and Father be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Disciplina e amor paterno

O Pai disciplina os filhos que ama. A correção divina produz fruto de justiça e paz para aqueles que foram exercitados por ela.

You must submit to [correction for the purpose of] discipline; God is dealing with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? Now if you are exempt from correction and without discipline, in which all [of God’s children] share, then you are illegitimate children and not sons [at all]. Moreover, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us, and we submitted and respected them [for training us]; shall we not much more willingly submit to the Father of spirits, and live [by learning from His discipline]? For our earthly fathers disciplined us for only a short time as seemed best to them; but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness.

My son, do not reject or take lightly the discipline of the Lord [learn from your mistakes and the testing that comes from His correction through discipline];

Nor despise His rebuke, [Ps 94:12; Heb 12:5, 6; Rev 3:19]

For those whom the Lord loves He corrects,

Even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights.

My son, do not reject or take lightly the discipline of the Lord [learn from your mistakes and the testing that comes from His correction through discipline];

Nor despise His rebuke, [Ps 94:12; Heb 12:5, 6; Rev 3:19]

For those whom the Lord loves He corrects,

Even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights.

Pais terrenos

A Bíblia honra os pais que criam os filhos nos caminhos de Deus. Honrar pai e mãe é mandamento com promessa de vida longa.

Family Relationships

Children, obey your parents in the Lord [that is, accept their guidance and discipline as His representatives], for this is right [for obedience teaches wisdom and self-discipline]. Honor [esteem, value as precious] your father and your mother [and be respectful to them]this is the first commandment with a promiseso that it may be well with you, and that you may have a long life on the earth. [Ex 20:12]

Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger [do not exasperate them to the point of resentment with demands that are trivial or unreasonable or humiliating or abusive; nor by showing favoritism or indifference to any of them], but bring them up [tenderly, with lovingkindness] in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

"Honor (respect, obey, care for) your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged in the land the Lord your God gives you.

The Enticement of Sinners

My son, hear the instruction of your father,

And do not reject the teaching of your mother.

For they are a garland of grace on your head,

And chains and ornaments [of gold] around your neck.

The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice,

And he who sires a wise child will have joy in him.

A [flippant, arrogant] fool rejects his father’s instruction and correction,

But he who [is willing to learn and] regards and keeps in mind a reprimand acquires good sense.

Grandchildren are the crown of aged men,

And the glory of children is their fathers [who live godly lives]. [Ps 127:3; 128:3]

Whoever curses his father or his mother,

His lamp [of life] will be extinguished in time of darkness.

Children, obey your parents [as God’s representatives] in all things, for this [attitude of respect and obedience] is well-pleasing to the Lord [and will bring you God’s promised blessings]. Fathers, do not provoke or irritate or exasperate your children [with demands that are trivial or unreasonable or humiliating or abusive; nor by favoritism or indifference; treat them tenderly with lovingkindness], so they will not lose heart and become discouraged or unmotivated [with their spirits broken].

Behold, children are a heritage and gift from the Lord,

The fruit of the womb a reward. [Deut 28:4]

Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,

So are the children of one’s youth.

How blessed [happy and fortunate] is the man whose quiver is filled with them;

They will not be ashamed

When they speak with their enemies [in gatherings] at the [city] gate.

"It is the living who give praise and thanks to You, as I do today;

A father tells his sons about Your faithfulness.

"The fathers shall not be put to death for [the sins of] their children, nor shall the children be put to death for their fathers; [only] for his own sin shall anyone be put to death.

For [even the whole] creation [all nature] waits eagerly for the children of God to be revealed.

I am writing to you, fathers [those believers who are spiritually mature], because you know Him who has existed from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men [those believers who are growing in spiritual maturity], because you have been victorious and have overcome the evil one. I have written to you, children [those who are new believers, those spiritually immature], because you have come to know the Father.

I have written to you, fathers, because you know Him who has existed from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong and vigorous, and the word of God remains [always] in you, and you have been victorious over the evil one [by accepting Jesus as Savior].

Do Not Love the World

Do not love the world [of sin that opposes God and His precepts], nor the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
