Deus é nosso Pai celestial — amoroso, provedor, disciplinador e fiel. As Escrituras também honram os pais terrenos e os chamam a criar os filhos na instrução do Senhor.

O Pai celestial

Deus é Pai de misericórdias. Ele nos adotou como filhos, nos ama incondicionalmente e cuida de cada detalhe da nossa vida.

O cuidado paterno de Deus

O Pai celestial sabe do que precisamos antes de pedirmos. Ele dá boas dádivas aos filhos que pedem e cuida até dos passarinhos.

26 Behold the birds of the heaven, that they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; and your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are not ye of much more value than they?

Mateus 6:26

29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father: 30 but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thine inner chamber, and having shut thy door, pray to thy Father who is in secret, and thy Father who seeth in secret shall recompense thee openly.

17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thy head, and wash thy face; 18 that thou be not seen of men to fast, but of thy Father who is in secret: and thy Father who seeth in secret shall recompense thee.

Conhecer o Pai

Jesus é o caminho para o Pai. Ninguém conhece o Pai senão o Filho e aquele a quem o Filho quiser revelar.

27 All things have been delivered unto me of my Father: and no one knoweth the Son, save the Father; neither doth any know the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son willeth to reveal him.

Mateus 11:27

48 Ye therefore shall be perfect, even as your Father who is in heaven is perfect.

8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your master, even Christ, and all ye are brethren. 9 And call no man your father on the earth: for one is your Father, even he who is in heaven.
