1 See *how great a love the Father has given us, that we would be called children of God; and in fact we are. For this reason the world does not know us: because it did not know Him.(1 John 3:1)

15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery *leading to fear again, but you have received *a spirit of adoption as sons and daughters by which we cry out, "Abba! *Father!" 16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God,(Romans 8:15,16)

13 Just as a father has compassion on his children,

So the Lord has compassion on those who *fear Him.

14 For He Himself knows *our form;

He is mindful that we are nothing but dust.(Psalm 103:13,14)

5 A father of the fatherless and a judge *for the widows,

Is God in His holy dwelling.(Psalm 68:5)

8 But now, Lord, You are our Father;

We are the clay, and You our potter,

And all of us are the work of Your hand.(Isaiah 64:8)

26 Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather crops into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they?(Matthew 6:26)

32 *Do not be afraid, little flock, because your Father has chosen to give you the kingdom.(Luke 12:32)

32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?(Romans 8:32)

7 It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? 8 But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. 9 Furthermore, we had *earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much more be subject to the Father of *spirits, and live? 10 For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness.(Hebrews 12:7-10)

11 My son, do not reject the *discipline of the Lord

Or loathe His rebuke,

12 For whom the Lord loves He disciplines,

Just as a father disciplines the son in whom he delights.(Proverbs 3:11,12)

1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise), 3 so that it may turn out well for you, and that you may live long on the earth.

4 Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.(Ephesians 6:1-4)

12 "Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged on the land which the Lord your God gives you.(Exodus 20:12)

20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this is pleasing *to the Lord. 21 Fathers, do not *antagonize your children, so that they will not become discouraged.(Colossians 3:20,21)

24 The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice,

And he who fathers a wise son will be glad in him.(Proverbs 23:24)

3 Behold, children are a *gift of the Lord,

The fruit of the womb is a reward.

4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,

So are the children of one’s youth.

5 Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them;

They will not be ashamed

When they speak with their enemies in the gate.(Psalm 127:3-5)
