Deus está conosco
O Senhor é refúgio e fortaleza. Mesmo no vale da sombra da morte, não precisamos temer — Ele está ao nosso lado para nos consolar.
Also—when I walk in a valley of death-shade, || I fear no evil, for You [are] with me, || Your rod and Your staff—they comfort me.
BY DAVID. YHWH [is] my light and my salvation, || Whom do I fear? YHWH [is] the strength of my life, || Of whom am I afraid?
And YHWH is a tower for the bruised, || A tower for times of adversity.
One [thing] I asked of YHWH—it I seek: My dwelling in the house of YHWH, || All the days of my life, || To look on the pleasantness of YHWH, || And to inquire in His temple. For He hides me in a dwelling place in the day of evil, || He hides me in a secret place of His tent, || He raises me up on a rock.
For You [are] my hope, O Lord YHWH, || My trust from my youth.
Consolação e esperança
Deus consola os humildes e exalta os abatidos. Ele nunca nos desamparará.
and YHWH [is] He who is going before you, He Himself is with you; He does not fail you nor forsake you; do not fear, nor be frightened."
do not fear them, for your God YHWH—He is fighting for you.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous; do not be terrified nor frightened, for your God YHWH [is] with you in every [place] to where you go."
To set the low on a high place, || And the mourners have been high [in] safety.
and may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who loved us, and gave continuous comfort, and good hope in grace,
Descanso e renovação
Bem-aventurados os que choram, pois serão consolados. A Bíblia nos convida a descansar nos braços do Pai e encontrar paz para a alma.
Blessed the mourning—because they will be comforted.
be humbled, then, under the powerful hand of God, that He may exalt you in good time, having cast all your care on Him, because He cares for you.
Do with me a sign for good, || And those hating me see and are ashamed, || For You, O YHWH, have helped me, || Indeed, You have comforted me!
Please let Your kindness be to comfort me, || According to Your saying to Your servant.
If you lie down, you are not afraid, || Indeed, you have lain down, || And your sleep has been sweet.
To everything—a season, and a time to every delight under the heavens: A time to bring forth, || And a time to die. A time to plant, || And a time to eradicate the planted. A time to slay, || And a time to heal, || A time to break down, || And a time to build up. A time to weep, || And a time to laugh. A time to mourn, || And a time to skip. A time to cast away stones, || And a time to heap up stones. A time to embrace, || And a time to be far from embracing. A time to seek, || And a time to destroy. A time to keep, || And a time to cast away. A time to tear, || And a time to sew. A time to be silent, || And a time to speak. A time to love, || And a time to hate. A time of war, || And a time of peace.
