Deus está conosco
O Senhor é refúgio e fortaleza. Mesmo no vale da sombra da morte, não precisamos temer — Ele está ao nosso lado para nos consolar.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You [are] with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
1 A Psalm of David. The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
4 One [thing] I have desired from the LORD, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to pray in His temple.5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His shelter, in the secrecy of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me up on a rock.
5 For You [are] my hope, O Lord God, my trust from my youth.
Consolação e esperança
Deus consola os humildes e exalta os abatidos. Ele nunca nos desamparará.
8 And Jehovah [is] He who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not fail you nor forsake you. Do not fear; nor be dismayed.
22 You shall not fear them. For the LORD your God shall fight for you.
9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage. Do not be afraid, neither be dismayed. For the LORD your God [is] with you in all places where you go.
11 to set on high those who are low, so that those who mourn may be lifted up [to] safety;
16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God, even our Father, who has loved us and has given [us] everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
Descanso e renovação
Bem-aventurados os que choram, pois serão consolados. A Bíblia nos convida a descansar nos braços do Pai e encontrar paz para a alma.
4 Blessed [are] they that mourn! For they shall be comforted.
6 Therefore be humbled under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you in due time,7 casting all your anxiety onto Him, for He cares for you.
17 Show me a token for good, so that they who hate me may see and be ashamed; because You, LORD, have helped me and comforted me.
76 I beseech You, let Your merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to Your word to Your servant.
24 When you lie down, you shall not be afraid; yea, you shall lie down, and your sleep shall be sweet.
