O pão da vida
Jesus se declarou o Pão da Vida — o alimento espiritual que satisfaz a fome mais profunda da alma humana. Quem come deste pão viverá para sempre.
Eu sou o Pão da Vida
Jesus disse: 'Eu sou o pão da vida; quem vem a mim nunca terá fome.' Ele é o sustento que sacia a alma eternamente.
So Jesus said to them: "I am the bread of the Life. Whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes into me will never thirst.
"I am the bread of the Life.
Then the Jews started complaining about Him, because He said, "I am the bread that came down out of Heaven."
Do not work for the food that wastes away but for the food that endures into life eternal, which the Son of the Man will give you; because on Him God the Father has set His seal."
O pão que dá vida ao mundo
Jesus é o pão vivo que desceu do céu. Quem come da sua carne e bebe do seu sangue tem a vida eterna e será ressuscitado no último dia.
I am the living bread which came down out of Heaven. If anyone eats of this bread he will live forever. Actually, the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give on behalf of the life of the world."
So Jesus said to them: "Most assuredly I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of the Man and drink His blood, you do not have Life within yourselves.
Jesus says to him: "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one goes to the Father except through me.
Saciar a fome da alma
Bem-aventurados os que têm fome e sede de justiça, porque serão fartos. Nem só de pão vive o homem, mas de toda palavra que sai da boca de Deus.
Blessed are those hungering and thirsting for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
But in answer He said, "It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but by every word coming out of God’s mouth.’ "
Therefore, I say to you not to worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, that they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not superior to them?
