O pão da vida
Jesus se declarou o Pão da Vida — o alimento espiritual que satisfaz a fome mais profunda da alma humana. Quem come deste pão viverá para sempre.
Eu sou o Pão da Vida
Jesus disse: 'Eu sou o pão da vida; quem vem a mim nunca terá fome.' Ele é o sustento que sacia a alma eternamente.
35 And Jhesus seide to hem, Y am breed of lijf; he that cometh to me, schal not hungur; he that bileueth in me, schal neuere thirste.

41 Therfor Jewis grutchiden of hym, for he hadde seid, Y am breed that cam doun fro heuene.
27 Worche ye not mete that perischith, but that dwellith in to euerlastynge lijf, which mete mannys sone schal yyue to you; for God the fadir hath markid hym.
O pão que dá vida ao mundo
Jesus é o pão vivo que desceu do céu. Quem come da sua carne e bebe do seu sangue tem a vida eterna e será ressuscitado no último dia.

6 Jhesus seith to hym, Y am weie, treuthe, and lijf; no man cometh to the fadir, but bi me.
Saciar a fome da alma
Bem-aventurados os que têm fome e sede de justiça, porque serão fartos. Nem só de pão vive o homem, mas de toda palavra que sai da boca de Deus.
6 Blessid ben thei that hungren and thristen riytwisnesse, for thei schulen be fulfillid.
4 Which answeride, and seide to hym, It is writun, Not oonli in breed luyeth man, but in ech word that cometh of Goddis mouth.
25 Therfor I seie to you, that ye be not bisi to youre lijf, what ye schulen ete; nether to youre bodi, with what ye schulen be clothid. Whether lijf is not more than meete, and the bodie more than cloth?26 Biholde ye the foulis of the eire, for thei sowen not, nethir repen, nethir gaderen in to bernes; and youre fadir of heuene fedith hem. Whether ye ben not more worthi than thei?
