A mulher virtuosa
Mulher virtuosa, quem a achará? Seu valor excede o de rubis. Ela é sábia, trabalhadora, generosa e temida pelo Senhor.
Who can find a valiant woman? for her price is far above precious stones.

The heart of her husband safely trusts in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

She sought wool and flax and worked willingly with her hands.

She was like the merchants’ ships; she brings her food from afar.

She rose up even at night and gave food to her family and a portion to her maidens.

Strength and glory is her clothing, and she shall laugh in the last day.

Beleza interior
A beleza verdadeira não é exterior, mas o caráter incorruptível de um espírito manso e tranquilo. Isso tem grande valor diante de Deus.
Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, so that also those who do not obey the Word, may be won without a word by the conversation of their wives,
considering your chaste conversation which is in fear.
Let their adorning not be outward with ostentatious hairdos and wearing of gold nor in composition of apparel,
but let the interior adorning of the heart be without corruption, and of an agreeable spirit and peaceful, which is precious in the sight of God.
For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who waited upon God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands,
as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, of whom ye are made daughters, doing well and not being afraid of any terror.
Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them wisely, giving honour unto the woman, as unto a more fragile vessel and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers not be hindered.
In like manner also that the women adorn themselves in an honest manner, with shyness and modesty, not with ostentatious hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing
The wives likewise are to be honest, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.
Parceria e dignidade
Deus criou homem e mulher à sua imagem. A mulher não é inferior, mas parceira e co-herdeira da graça da vida.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over every beast that moves upon the earth.
And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him.
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth sons; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Nevertheless, neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husband, as unto the Lord.
For the husband is the head of the wife even as the Christ is head of the congregation, {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} and it is he who gives saving health to the body.
Therefore, as the congregation {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} is subject unto the Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becomes holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of honesty;
that they may teach the young women to be prudent, to love their husbands, to love their children,
to be temperate, chaste, good housekeepers, subject to their own husbands, that the word of God not be blasphemed.
