A mulher virtuosa
Mulher virtuosa, quem a achará? Seu valor excede o de rubis. Ela é sábia, trabalhadora, generosa e temida pelo Senhor.
Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price [is] far above rubies.
The heart of her husband does safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil (plunder; prey; booty).
She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
She seeks wool, and flax, and works willingly with her hands.
She is like the merchants’ ships; she brings her food from afar.
She rises also while it is yet night, and gives meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
She considers a field, and buys it: with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard.
She girds her loins (thigh and groin area; often used for the reproductive organs) with strength, and strengthens her arms.
She perceives that her merchandise [is] good: her candle goes not out by night.
She lays her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
She stretches out her hand to the poor; yea, she reaches forth her hands to the needy.
She makes fine linen, and sells [it]; and delivers girdles unto the merchant.
Strength and honour [are] her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
She opens her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue [is] the law of kindness.
She looks well to the ways of her household, and eats not the bread of idleness.
Every wise woman builds her house: but the foolish plucks it down with her hands.
My son, hear the instruction of youi father, and forsake not the law of youi mother:
Beleza interior
A beleza verdadeira não é exterior, mas o caráter incorruptível de um espírito manso e tranquilo. Isso tem grande valor diante de Deus.
Likewise, you2f wives, [be] in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conduct of the wives;
While they behold your pure (clean; not corrupt) Conversation (behavior; way of life; community) [coupled] with fear.
Whose adorning let it not be that outward [adorning] of braiding the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
But [let it be] the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, [even the ornament] of a meek and quiet Spirit [Ruach], which is in the sight of God-The Father of great price.
For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God-The Father, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
Even as Sarah [princess] obeyed Avraham [Exalted Father], calling him lord: whose daughters you2f are, as long as you2f do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
Likewise, you2f husbands, dwell with [them] according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array (to put on; to clothe);
Even so [must] wives [be] grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
Parceria e dignidade
Deus criou homem e mulher à sua imagem. A mulher não é inferior, mas parceira e co-herdeira da graça da vida.
So God-Elōhīm [The Living Word of GOD] created man in his [own] image, in the image of God-Elōhīm [The Messiah Pre-Incarnate] created he him; male and female created he them.
And God-Elōhīm [The Living Word – The Creator] Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) them, and God-Elōhīm [The Living Word] said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.
And the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) God-Elōhīm [The Living Word - The Many Powered] said, [It is] not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helpful partner for him.
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply youri sorrow and youri conception; in sorrow youi shall bring forth children; and youri desire [shall be] to youri husband, and he shall rule over youi.
Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord - Kurios.
For as the woman [is] of the man, even so [is] the man also by the woman; but all things of God-The Father.
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord - Kurios.
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Moshiach [Messiah] is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Therefore as the church is subject unto Moshiach [Messiah], so [let] the wives [be] to their own husbands in every thing.
The aged women likewise, that [they be] in behaviour as becomes holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
[To be] discreet, pure (clean; not corrupt), keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God-The Father be not blasphemed.
