Wives and Husbands
In the same way, wives, submit to your own husbands, so that, even if some are disobedient to the word, they will be won without a word by the way you live when they observe your pure and reverent conduct. Their wives likewise must be dignified, not slanderers, but sober-minded and faithful in all things.

Wives and Husbands
Wives, submit to your husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, just as Christ is the head and Savior of the church, which is his body. Just as the church submits to Christ, so wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
Elderly women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderous or enslaved to much wine, but teaching what is good, so that they can admonish the young women to be loving to their husbands, loving to their children, sensible, pure, homemakers, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, so that the word of God may not be discredited.
