A Páscoa é a celebração suprema da redenção. Do cordeiro pascal no Egito ao Cordeiro de Deus que tira o pecado do mundo, ela aponta para o sacrifício e a vitória de Cristo.
A caminhada para a cruz
Jesus entrou em Jerusalém como Rei humilde, e a multidão o aclamou. Ele sabia do sofrimento que viria, mas caminhou em obediência até o fim.

Look, your King is coming to you;

A paixão de Cristo
Jesus foi zombado, açoitado e crucificado. Ele orou no Getsêmani e entregou sua vida voluntariamente, dizendo: 'Está consumado!'

A ressurreição gloriosa

"He is not here, but he has risen! Remember how he spoke to you when he was still in Galilee, saying, ‘It is necessary that the Son of Man be betrayedinto the hands of sinful men, be crucified, and riseon the third day’? "
The other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, then also went in, saw, and believed. For they did not yet understand the Scripture that he must rise from the dead.
