A Páscoa é a celebração suprema da redenção. Do cordeiro pascal no Egito ao Cordeiro de Deus que tira o pecado do mundo, ela aponta para o sacrifício e a vitória de Cristo.
A caminhada para a cruz
Jesus entrou em Jerusalém como Rei humilde, e a multidão o aclamou. Ele sabia do sofrimento que viria, mas caminhou em obediência até o fim.
calling out saying: "Please! Deliver us! [Hoshi-annah] in the Highest. Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) is He who comes in the name of Yehovah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate]. Please! Deliver us! [Hoshi-annah] in the Highest"
Save now, I beseech (to call upon; appeal; beg) youi, O LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate]: O LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], I beseech (to call upon; appeal; beg) youi, send now prosperity.
Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) [be] he that cometh in the name of the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate]: we have Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) you out of the house of the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate].
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Tziyon [parched place]; shout, O daughter of Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace]: behold, youri King comes unto youi: he [is] just, and having Salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
"Behold we are going up to Yerushalayim [abode of peace] and the Son of Man will be delivered over unto the chief priests and Torah-teachers (Scribes) and they will condemn him to death".
"Also they will deliver him to the Goyim [Gentiles] to mock and scourge and crucify him, but on the third day he will arise".
A paixão de Cristo
Jesus foi zombado, açoitado e crucificado. Ele orou no Getsêmani e entregou sua vida voluntariamente, dizendo: 'Está consumado!'
They clothed Yeshua [God is Salvation] with silk garments and covered him with a greenish silk robe.
The made a crown of thorns, and placed it on His head, and set a reed in his right hand and were bowing down mocking him: ‘Shalom be upon you King of the Yehudim [praise].’
Afterward they set above His head a writing which said: "THIS IS YESHUA [GOD IS SALVATION] OF NATZERET [SEPARATED] THE KING OF Y’SRA’EL."
And he said, Abba, Father, all things [are] possible unto youi; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what youi will.
And when Yeshua [God is Salvation] had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into youri hands I commend my Spirit [Ruach]: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
When Yeshua [God is Salvation] therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
A ressurreição gloriosa
Ele não está aqui — ressuscitou! O túmulo vazio é a prova de que a morte foi derrotada e Cristo vive para sempre.
The angel answered and said to the women: "Do not be afraid; for I know that you seek Yeshua [God is Salvation] who was crucified".
"He is not here, for He is already alive, as He said. Come, therefore, and see the place where the Adon [Lord - Kurios of the earth] arose".
And he says unto them, Be not affrighted: You2f seek Yeshua [God is Salvation] of Natzeret [one separated], which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spoke unto you when he was yet in Galil [circuit, district],
Saying, The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.
For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
