Pecado
O pecado é a realidade que separa a humanidade de Deus. Mas a Bíblia também revela a solução: o sangue de Cristo que nos purifica e a graça que nos liberta de toda condenação.
A universalidade do pecado
Todos pecaram e carecem da glória de Deus. Não há justo, nem sequer um. O pecado entrou no mundo por um homem, mas a graça veio por Jesus.
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God—
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God— being declared righteous freely by His grace through the redemption that [is] in Christ Jesus,
for this reason by works of law will no flesh be declared righteous before Him, for through law is a knowledge of sin.
for the wages of sin [is] death, and the gift of God [is] continuous life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
And we are as unclean—all of us, || And all our righteous acts [are] as garments of menstruation; And we fade as a leaf—all of us. And our iniquities take us away as wind.
Everyone who is doing sin, he also does lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness,
Liberdade da condenação
Não há condenação para os que estão em Cristo Jesus. Ele nos libertou da lei do pecado e da morte para vivermos em novidade de vida.
There is, then, now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit; for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus set me free from the law of sin and of death;
Do not let then sin reign in your mortal body, to obey it in its desires; neither present your members instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as living out of the dead, and your members instruments of righteousness to God; for sin will not have lordship over you, for you are not under law, but under grace. What then? Will we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Let it not be!

Confissão e perdão
Se confessarmos os nossos pecados, Deus é fiel e justo para nos perdoar e purificar de toda injustiça. A confissão liberta a alma.
if we may say, "We have no sin," we lead ourselves astray, and the truth is not in us; if we may confess our sins, He is steadfast and righteous that He may forgive us the sins, and may cleanse us from every unrighteousness;

AN INSTRUCTION OF DAVID. O the blessedness of him whose transgression [is] forgiven, || Whose sin is covered.
For Your Name’s sake, O YHWH, || You have pardoned my iniquity, for it [is] great.
Remember Your mercies, O YHWH, || And Your kindnesses, for they [are] from the age. Sins of my youth, and my transgressions, || Do not remember. According to Your kindness be mindful of me, || For Your goodness’ sake, O YHWH.
[His] errors—who understands? Declare me innocent from hidden ones,
Whoever is covering his transgressions does not prosper, || And he who is confessing and forsaking has mercy.
Vencendo o pecado
Cristo nos resgatou e nos restaurou. Devemos mortificar as obras da carne, fugir do pecado e prosseguir em santidade.
who Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree that having died to sins, we may live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed;
and she will bring forth a Son, and you will call His Name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins."
He made Him having not known sin [to be] sin in our behalf, that we may become the righteousness of God in Him.

Responsabilidade e restauração
O pecado tem consequências, mas Deus restaura o arrependido. Devemos corrigir uns aos outros com mansidão e cobrir o pecado com amor.

to him, then, knowing to do good, and not doing [it], it is sin to him.
draw near to God, and He will draw near to you; cleanse hands, you sinners! And purify hearts, you split-souled!
Adulterers and adulteresses! Have you not known that friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whoever, then, may intend to be a friend of the world, he is designated [as] an enemy of God.
out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing; it does not need, my brothers, these things to so happen;
Before all things, having earnest love among yourselves, because love covers a multitude of sins;
Fuga do pecado
Bem-aventurado o que não anda no conselho dos ímpios. O caminho do justo é guardado pelo Senhor, e sua Palavra nos protege da queda.
O the blessedness of that one, || Who has not walked in the counsel of the wicked, || And has not stood in the way of sinners, || And has not sat in the seat of scorners;
Establish my steps by Your saying, || And any iniquity does not rule over me.
Whoever is walking in integrity walks confidently, || And whoever is perverting his ways is known.
The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which [is] good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which [is] evil; for out of the abounding of the heart his mouth speaks.
Have you not known that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be led astray; neither whoremongers, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God.
Pilate, therefore, again went forth outside and says to them, "Behold, I bring Him to you outside, that you may know that I find no fault in Him"; Jesus, therefore, came forth outside, bearing the thorny garland and the purple garment; and he says to them, "Behold, the Man!" When, therefore, the chief priests and the officers saw Him, they cried out, saying, "Crucify! Crucify!" Pilate says to them, "Take Him yourselves and crucify, for I find no fault in Him";
